Our Wedding

Our story began in November of 2016 when our friend groups happened to come together after both of our collegiate sports seasons concluded. Both our teams were very excited for a night out after a long season. That night, after we were introduced, we started talking and the conversation never stopped. We ended up talking for hours outside on the porch while the party continued around us, but we couldn’t care less. Since that random college party, we have been&nbsp;inseparable. Our similarities were evident from the beginning, as we both preferred quieter nights together watching movies or going out to dinner even as young college sophomores.&nbsp; Fast forward a few months, and we decided that it was time to define our relationship around Valentine’s Day of 2017. After a few years of figuring life out together, we finally figured it out and took the step of moving from Memphis to Denver to start our life together. It was unfortunately smack in the middle of the COVID pandemic, which was not easy in the slightest, but we knew this was the right path for both of us to grow as a couple. &nbsp;While we both felt we were ready to take the next step after moving across the country together, we patiently let our lives unfold while remaining steadfast and deeply in love with each other. Finally, in August of 2023, Brenden gathered all our family &amp; friends (unbeknownst to Kat) to her favorite place in the world, her family's Alabama beach house! After surprising her with the most perfect proposal on a gorgeous August night, we then enjoyed a full weekend of laughter and pure joy, celebrating the commitment we made to each other surrounded by all our favorite people.&nbsp;&nbsp; We decided to prolong our&nbsp;engagement to ensure Kat was finished with nursing school and also to ensure every detail was right for our lovely guests. We are so looking forward to celebrating the culmination of almost 9 years of hard work, laughs, tears, and a whole lot of love with you! &nbsp;We are both eternally grateful for your love and support. We are so excited to be able to give you all a weekend of fun, food, dancing, and drinks :) &nbsp;With Love, B &amp; K

My older sister has been one of the most influential people in my life. She’s my first friend, protector, and someone who knows me better than almost anyone else. Growing up, she set the bar high with her strength, determination, and loyalty, and those are qualities I’ve admired and leaned on over the years. I feel honored to have her by my side during this special day!

My little sister is one of the greatest blessings in my life. She’s my constant source of laughter, my partner in mischief, and the person who always reminds me to find joy in the little things. Even though she’s younger, she has a wisdom and kindness that inspire me daily. Having her as my maid of honor means the world to me because she’s not just my sister—she’s my best friend and the person who brings so much light into my life.

Lulu has been one of my closest friends for over 10 years, and she’s truly one of a kind. Her warmth, humor, and adventurous spirit have brought so much joy and positivity into my life. From late-night study sessions (mostly on her part) to unforgettable memories, Lulu has always been by my side. Having her as a bridesmaid means so much to me because she’s not just a dear friend—she’s family.

Hannah has been through it all with me and her friendship has been such a gift in my life. She’s thoughtful, supportive, and always knows how to brighten my day. From countless laughs to our legendary cleaning sessions at the Crump Dump, she’s been by my side for so many unforgettable moments. Hannah is always someone I can count on and will always be my "Nan" (if you know, you know).

Morgan is an insanely smart and kind yet wild soul. She truly made every day of the two years living together fun with never a dull moment. From late night jamming to Taylor Swift on the piano to eating cookie batter, Morgan makes us all laugh. Morgan’s energy, determination, and sense of humor always kept things interesting. She’s a true ride-or-die friend, and having her as a bridesmaid means so much to me because she’s been with me through it all—crazy, messy (mostly her room), and everything in between.

Tierin has always been a true friend ever since I met her over 10 years ago. We’ve gotten to share so many amazing memories since —especially as pepper partners for our entire college volleyball career. Her competitive spirit, dedication, and fun-loving personality have made her a constant source of motivation and laughter. Whether on the court or off, Tierin has always had my back. Having her as a bridesmaid is so special to me because she’s not just a friend—she’s a teammate for life.

My younger brother Cameron is truly one of the most important people in my life. We have shared more queso than any normal human should consume, but I'm very excited to continue that trend. Having him as my man of honor means the world to me because he’s been an irreplaceable part of my journey, and I’m so grateful to have him by my side on this special day.

JB has been one of my closest friends from college, and I’m incredibly lucky to have him by my side as a groomsman. From our countless pickup basketball games to double dates with Kat and Hannah, the memories we have shared mean the world to me. He’s someone I can always count on, and having him stand with me on this special day is an honor.

I have known Sahil since high school, then was lucky enough to have him as my freshman-year roommate in college, I just couldn't shake this guy! He truly makes the entire room brighter with his contagious laugh. Sahil is a special person who I feel lucky to have as a best friend in life.

George and I have shared some of the best moments playing soccer together in college. His passion for the game, his competitive spirit, and his unwavering support on and off the field have made him a true friend. Whether we were pushing each other to be better teammates or simply enjoying the game we loved, George has always had my back.

Kenny and I go way back to 5th grade, and since then, he’s been an amazing friend and an incredible nurse to so many. We even shared a memorable time as roommates in Colorado, where his sense of humor and work ethic made every day better. Kenny is someone I can always count on, and having him as a groomsman means a lot to me. 



Kendrick Lovell

Andrew and I were roommates in college, and from that experience, I gained not just a friend but a lifelong brother. His laid-back attitude, humor, and unwavering loyalty made living together unforgettable. Originally from Arkansas (a rival highschool nonetheless), Andrew has always been someone I could count on, through the ups and downs of college life and beyond.
