Are you serious?

Yes. It's very serious. And also hilarious. But mostly serious.

What kind of acts are you looking for?

Anything that entertains, delights, or mildly confuses. Singing, dancing, magic tricks, poetry, comedy, Ru Paul inspired lip syncing—if it’s under 5 minutes and doesn’t require pyrotechnics or a live animal handler, it’s fair game.

Do I need to submit my act?

Nope! But if you know in advance that you’d like to perform and you’ll need music, props, cue cards, or a backstage pep talk—please give us a heads-up! It helps us loosely shape the flow of the night (and avoid 12 sock puppet acts in a row).

What if I get nervous and bail?

We’ll offer emotional support, a pep talk, and shot of tequila. If you still want to back out, we respect it. But know we believed in you.

Can I just show up and wing it?

Absolutely! That’s the spirit of open mic. Magic happens when you least expect it.
