Rhode Island in the summer is very busy. We highly recommend booking your accommodations far in advance. Below are a few recommendations - don't hesitate to reach out with questions
Flight
Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport
This is your most convenient airport option. Jamestown and Newport are a 20 minute uber ride away.
Boston Logan International Airport
Larger airport than Providence TF Green, but will require a rental car or public transport. Jamestown and Newport are and hour and a half drive from Boston.
Lodging
Lodging Crash Course:
-Most places are a 2 night minimum
-Jamestown will have small air b and bs and bed and breakfasts
-Downtown Newport will be most expensive
-Middletown EAST is near the beach. Cheaper than downtown Newport but still seasonally priced.
-Upper Middletown area - several generic chain hotels. We have one room block right now at the Sonesta and will add more once it fills up. This area is not centrally located but no more than 2 miles from all the action.
-Once you know where you are staying please disclose to the couple so we can coordinate a transportation option
Air B and B or VRBO
We highly recommend considering an Air B&B or VRBO for the weekend in either North Kingstown, Jamestown, Newport or Middletown. If it sounds fun to you, go in on a bigger place with some other guests!

Sonesta Select Newport Middletown

You are able to book a one night stay, however you are not guaranteed a check in earlier than 4pm. Ceremony starts at 3:30.
This Sonesta is the farthest from the action, but its an AMAZING rate. Another plus, it looks like there is a really cool outdoor area and gorgeous pool.
If these 15 rooms book up we may be able to get more. Rooms must be booked by May 17th, 2024. There is no penalty for cancellation with 24 hours notice. There is no 2 night minimum, however check in is not guaranteed until 4pm. Therefore if you book for Saturday only you will miss the wedding. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Great Newport location, great restaurants and accommodations.
The hotel is undergoing renovations until April 2024. They will not be releasing the availability for June 2024 until that time at the least. The plus here, guaranteed availability.
Best view in Newport, maybe Rhode Island. Great outdoor pool, several restaurants and outdoor tiki bar. It's the place to be.
Wayfinder Newport
Very trendy brand new hotel. General rates are around $425/night. There is a pool and it's a littler closer to down town Newport than the other hotels.
Wyndham Newport Hotel
Great location between Easton's beach, the cliff walk and downtown Newport. Room block options were sold out but individual rooms are available. Very ideal place to be.
The Newport Harbor Hotel and Marina
Stunning harbor views, very centrally located. Great restaurant on the grounds. The real Newport experience.
