Kathryn met Ashley in 2018 when Kathryn started working at Panera. They worked together for 2 years while Ashely was a senior in high school and Kathryn was grinding through college. Ashley also met Alex when he started working at Panera. Kathryn and Ashley became great friends almost immediately and stayed in touch after they both left Panera. Kathryn, Alex, and Ashley became roommates in 2021 and all three of them became even closer. Many a tears and laughs were shed during late night study sessions or ranting about work or at the occasional house party (sorry Mom). Ashley brought home her best friend in 2023 (his name is Rocky and he's a mini Aussie). Ashley graduated college in 2022 and works as an elementary school teacher in Colorado Springs. She is an avid fan of card and board games and loves camping and paddle boarding.

If there were a competition for number of years that someone in the wedding party has known the bride, Kate would take the cake by a long shot. Kate and Kathryn have known each other since diapers as they attended the same daycare together at Colorado College. Kathryn and Kate grew up together having playdates all the time and causing all sorts of mischief as the two "Katherines" (it's Kathryn and Katharine respectively). They both navigated the difficulties of middle and high school together, seeing each other whenever they could, being a steadfast rock in each others' lives. Kate graduated from college in 2021 with a degree in zoology and traveled to New Zealand where they are currently working on their master's degree in conservation biology. They have a deep passion for animals (their doggie Murphy has his own Insta), love binge-watching Doctor Who, and never miss a year at the Renaissance Festival.

Lauren met Kathryn in middle school as classmates at Discovery Canyon Campus and continued all the way through high school together. Both of them were in band together in both middle and high school (Lauren on the flute and Kathryn on the clarinet). The two of them were also a part of a small friend group who suffered through all the cringe that is middle and high school together and have remained close even now. Lauren graduated from college in 2021 with a fine arts degree and attended several summer training programs for opera in Germany during her summers in college. It is a dream of hers to sing in an opera house in Europe and she is currently saving up money by working as an admissions counselor at a community college in FoCo. Lauren is a total book lover, a wonderful baker, and is one of the fearless Dungeon Masters for the DnD (Dungeons and Dragons) group that Kathryn is a part of.

Misty and Kathryn met in middle school as classmates and Misty was a part of the same small friend group as Lauren. Misty and Kathryn became closer friends in high school as they had more classes together (Misty was one of the only reasons Kathryn passed physics which is not her strong suit). Misty unfortunately moved away during senior year of high school, but kept in touch with everyone while she was gone. Misty met her fiancé Diego in the Army and they are both a part of the DnD group with Kathryn and Lauren. Misty got engaged in November of 2024 to her partner, Diego and she currently resides in Washington, D.C. Misty is extremely talented at drawing and is a movie connoisseur.

Madi met Kathryn and Alex when she started working at Panera. Although she was shy at first, she quickly warmed up once Kathryn and her connected over Studio Ghibli movies and other nerdy things. Madi met her husband while working at Panera (his name is also Alex coincidentally) as well and Kathryn and Alex got to watch their relationship bloom. Madi is trained as a CNA and is currently working at Starbucks and enjoys it thoroughly. Madi is an amazing artist (Kathryn gifted Alex one of her paintings for one of their anniversaries), loves her cats and husband very much, and enjoys video games like Minecraft and Animal Crossing.

Richard actually met Kathryn first, all the way back in elementary school when they were in the same 4th grade class at Discovery Canyon Campus. Both continued at this school all the way through middle and high school, as well. Richard and Alex met in high school, but didn't really get close until they worked together on the Air Force Academy during the summer in high school. Richard, Kathryn, and Alex all began hanging out more often in the fall of 2019 right after Kathryn and Alex reconnected. Richard graduated college in 2021 and recently got his pilot's license. He is married to his wonderful husband, Luiz, and they are the parents to an amazing rescue pittie named Ruffles.

Wyatt met both Kathryn and Alex in high school as they were all students at Discovery Canyon Campus. Wyatt was in the band with the two of them and the three got to be friends through different friend which include a few other members of the wedding party. Wyatt is currently living in Colorado Springs and plays video games with Alex and Kathryn whenever they get a chance.

Billy is one of Alex's cousins and lives in Florida. Kathryn first met Billy in 2021 when Alex and Kathryn vacationed there to visit family (both the bride and groom have family that reside in Florida). Billy has a degree in anthropology and is currently working on a master's degree and hopes to become an archaeologist. He is an avid music fan and travels all over the country for concerts and festivals as well as being an anime lover.

Ethan went to high school with Alex and Kathryn at Discovery Canyon. Alex and Ethan were close friends in high school and remained in touch after they both graduated. Ethan is currently working in construction and loves to attend concerts with Alex when their favorite bands come into town. Ethan has two beautiful children and recently returned to Colorado from Kansas. He plays video games in his free time and Alex is working hard to catch up on the list of recommendations from him.

Alex Dalton (referred to as Dalton) met Alex and Kathryn when they all worked at Panera together. Dalton and Alex quickly bonded over a mutual love of video games and anime. Alex and Kathryn both were able to watch Madi and Dalton become closer as the four of them worked together and pretty soon Dalton and Madi were dating. This led to the nicknames of Malex (for Madi and Dalton) and Kalex (for Kathryn and Alex). Dalton adores his wife and their kitties and they both live in Colorado Springs. He has a gaming channel where he streams different games, sometimes with other streamers.
