about 60 miles east of Index is a Bavarian Village with beautiful scenery, shops and a fun family day trip. The entire town has a fun German culture, beer, keep sakes and restaurants. Make sure to get a Brat with Sauerkraut and a Stein!

Woodinville is one of Washington's Wine Capitals with hundreds of winery's in the area. Be sure to make a reservation beforehand for the popular locations. Some of our favorite are Chateau Ste. Michelle, JM Cellars and the many other options in this neighborhood. There is also another large block of Wineries and Breweries near Genoa Cellars in Woodinville.

A 5.6 mile round trip hike with multiple waterfalls along the hike. You dont have to do the whole 5.6 miles to see a waterfall! stay on the Woody Trail until you reach the Picnic area at the Lower Falls, just two miles from the trailhead. Stop to admire the falls, but push less than half a mile for the prospects of better views at the Middle Falls, which boast the most impressive panoramic sights on the trail.

Stevens Pass is a ski resort near Index. Take the lift to the top of the mountain for a beautiful scenery of the Cascade Mountains and you can hike trails from there if you'd like!
