Once upon a Craigslist...

It is a tale as old as time; two beautiful young women, desperately searching for partners in this crazy game we call the DC housing market. Katie and her roommate Ann needed someone to fill their open room; Allison needed a room that was close to the Capitol. So Allison moved into a Chinatown sunroom with no door - a steal for less than $1000/month!

Over a year and eight months of roommateship, some warm feelings developed that had nothing to do with the easy Metro commute and apartment pool. The more logical of the pair (we'll let you guess who that one is) suggested that they wait until there were no messy complications before giving this a shot.

Allison moved out August 1st. Their first date was August 8th.

The rest, as they say, is history.
