Katie and Lane met on September 5, 2015. Katie had graduated from CU Boulder 3 months prior and Lane had just moved to Denver after spending the past year working as a ski instructor at Keystone. They met on a dating app called Hinge, which they had both begrudgingly downloaded after encouragement from their friends. They were each other's first date from a dating app, and the rest was history!

They bonded quickly over their love for the outdoors and spent almost every weekend of their first year together hiking or skiing.

Katie and Lane are avid CU Buffs football fans. They've attended almost every home game while they've lived in Colorado. Here they are at the 2016 Alamo Bowl - CU vs. OSU!

In March of 2017, Katie and Lane made the decision to move to Lane's hometown of Atlanta, GA! Here they are on Katie's 24th birthday on the roof of Ponce City Market.

Maui Trip! Fun fact - they had to end this trip early due to an unusual hurricane off the coast of Hawaii. The name of the hurricane? Hurricane Lane!

First trip to Telluride, CO. Katie and Lane fell in love with this town on this trip! They visit every year and it will forever hold a special place in their hearts!

Katie and Lane made the decision to move back to Colorado so Katie could attend grad school at CU Boulder!

In the summer of 2020, Lane planned a trip to Telluride to celebrate Katie graduating from CU with her master's degree. While on a beautiful hike that overlooks their favorite town, Lane got on one knee and asked Katie to marry him! She of course said yes!

Katie and Lane just adopted their first puppy! His name is Koda and he's a rescue from the Navajo Native American reservation in New Mexico. He's part husky, they *think* part Shepherd, and all love!
