Where will the ceremony and reception be?

The wedding ceremony and reception will be at Wedgewood Boulder Creek: 38470 Boulder Canyon Dr, Boulder, CO 80302

What time will the ceremony and reception start?

The ceremony will begin at 5:30 PM MST. After a brief ceremony, we will offer cocktails, appetizers, and yard games while the wedding party takes photos. The reception will begin shortly after.

Is there transportation and parking?

There is ample parking at the wedding venue. We will also provide shuttles to the wedding venue. The shuttles to the venue will pick up guests at the St. Julien Hotel in Downtown Boulder at 4:40 PM. The final shuttle to the ceremony will leave 4:50 PM. Shuttles will be available to take guests from the wedding venue back to the St. Julien starting at 8:00 PM.

Can I get an Uber to/from the venue?

Wedgewood Boulder Creek is deep in the Boulder Canyon, meaning cell reception is limited. The venue has Wi-Fi, but it may be best to use our shuttles for transportation instead.

What is the dress code?

The dress code for the wedding is cocktail attire. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held on grass - so stiletto heals are discouraged.

Where should I stay in Boulder?

Airbnb might be the most cost effective option, but there are also many great hotel options in Boulder! See the travel section on our website for hotel recommendations.

What is the best airport to fly into?

Denver International Airport is ~45 minutes from Boulder and the best option for air travel.

Is there public transportation to and from DIA?

The RTD bus route AB/AB1 can take you from DIA to Boulder and back.

What is the typical weather in Colorado this time of year?

We chose our wedding date because June is historically one of the most beautiful months in Colorado. The mountains are often teeming with wildflowers and the weather is typically warm but not yet scorching. However, June tends to be one of the rainier months in Boulder. Afternoon thunderstorms are common - and while they normally do not last longer than a few minutes - they can be torrential. We do have a back-up plan for our outdoor ceremony if rain becomes an issue (fingers crossed!), however it would be advisable to bring a raincoat and/or an umbrella just in case.

I have dietary restrictions! Will there be food for me at the reception?

There will be gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian/vegan options for appetizers, dinner and desserts.

Should I be concerned about the altitude if I am coming from sea-level?

The majority of our guests are coming from sea-level and should be aware of the effects of altitude. Boulder, CO is 5,430 feet above sea-level, and our wedding venue is a substantial climb up the mountains above Boulder. Furthermore, the heat from the sun feels much stronger at this altitude and Colorado is notorious for being extremely dry. We want to encourage our guests to stay extra hydrated during their stay, be mindful of alcohol consumption, and wear sunscreen.
