Kona International Airport (KOA)

The closest airport to our wedding venue is Kona International Airport (KOA). It is located 10 minutes north of Kailua-Kona and about a 30 minute drive to the Fairmont Orchid. Hawaiian and Alaska Airlines both have direct flights to KOA from the mainland. Southwest also has reasonable flights that stop in Honolulu on their way to Kona.

Rental Car

We would highly recommend renting a car during your stay to make transportation around the island easy. The rental car facilities are conveniently located and only a short shuttle ride from the airport. In the past we have booked with Alamo and Enterprise, however there are many more options that may fit your needs.

Fairmont Orchid

Our ceremony and reception will be held on the grounds of the Fairmont Orchid. For those who would like to stay on property for part or all of your stay on the Island of Hawaii, we are pleased to offer a discount code to enter online at the time of booking (pictured above). The code will apply a 40% discount to your room total per night. Do not combine with any other discount code or special rate as this will negate the discounted fee. There is no room block or quota for wedding guests.

Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort and Spa

69-275 Waikoloa Beach Drive, Waikoloa Beach, Hawaii, USA, 96738

The Waikoloa Marriott is only 10 minutes away from the wedding venue. It is also located on "A" bay- the beach where Lance proposed! "A" bay is also home to the Lava Lava Beach club, a favorite hang out of the Keppler family.

Airbnb and VRBO

For an equally fun but more budget friendly stay on the island, we recommend booking a room, condo, or home through Airbnb or VRBO. We would recommend finding stays along the Kohala Coast including in Waikoloa Beach and Puako, however there are also plenty of options in and around Kailua- Kona.
