Aaron planned a hike with family to one of Kayla's favorite overlooks in Northern Michigan. It was July 4th and Kayla was told we were going to hike and then out for a nice lunch for the holiday. When we got to her favorite overlook, she was so excited to show everyone how beautiful it was! She ran down and thought everyone was going to follow her. They didn't, and she quickly found out why. Aaron asked his brother Shaughn to take a picture, and then he dropped down on one knee and asked Kayla if she would spend her life with him creating the family and life of their dreams. And she said YES!
