What are the accommodations like?
The lake homes range in size, but all come fully furnished with bedrooms, bathrooms, and full kitchens. When you RSVP that you will be staying with us for the two-night minimum, we will arrange your accommodations according to people you know or are traveling with.
Do I have to book my room?
Nope! All you have to do is RSVP that you are staying the weekend, and we will do the rest. There will be a single lakehouse leader assigned for each home who will collect the accommodation payment from each couple/guest.
How much can I expect to spend to stay the weekend?
At this time, we can give an approximation of the two-night stay at the resort. The actual cost will depend on the rooming arrangements which will be finalized once all RSVPs are collected. The cost for each house is predetermined, and the final individual cost will depend on how many people are sharing the house. Expect to spend between $360 and $750 per couple for the whole weekend.
If we're staying all weekend in the same location, what do we do for food?
It is our pleasure to provide food for the entirety of the weekend! No payment is necessary. The food includes:
- Taco truck and appetizers Friday night
- Simple breakfast spread (i.e. bagels, fruit, etc.) Saturday morning
- Sandwiches, wraps, and salad for Saturday lunch
- Stone-fired pizza truck, appetizers, and dessert for reception dinner
- Pancakes and sausages on the beach Sunday morning.
There is a drip coffee machine in each home and we plan to provide coffee Saturday and Sunday morning. We will have vegetarian options available. Alcoholic beverages will also be provided throughout the weekend. Please drink responsibly!
Can I extend my stay at the lake by coming early or staying longer?
Yes! You can call or email the incredibly kind and helpful resort coordinator, Sarah Heine, if you would like to add more nights to your reservation (603-529-1880, lsvrweddings@gmail.com). You are more than welcome to make a whole vacation out of your stay rather than only staying the weekend. We will be at the resort starting Wednesday to prepare, so let us know if you'll be there, too! Please let us know if you plan to extend your stay when you RSVP so we can make sure that your lake home will be clean by the time you arrive. The earliest you can arrive is Monday as Sunday they will need to turn over from a previous wedding. There will likely be another wedding to prepare for the next weekend, so you will not be able to stay past Sunday at the resort.
Will we need a car?
It is not necessary to have a car for the weekend. All events and activities will be at the resort! However, while you can likely get an Uber from the airport easily, it may be difficult to get an Uber back to the airport from the resort when you leave. Consider splitting a rental car with your friends if needed.
But what would I wear?
Attire for the welcome dinner (Friday) will be "dressy casual". Summer dresses, jumpsuits, khakis, dressy shirt, etc. would all be appropriate. For the ceremony and reception on Saturday, the wedding party will be in the typical suits and long/midi dresses. Pantsuits, dressy jumpsuits, cocktail dresses, long/midi dresses, suits, sports jackets, etc. are all welcome. There is no dress code for the remainder of the weekend. Enjoy your time at the lake!
What do we do all day Saturday before the wedding?
There are plenty of activities to fill your down time at the resort! There is a private beach and indoor swimming pool, there are tennis and basketball courts, and there are beach activities available including volleyball, kayaking, canoeing, and paddle boarding (all free to use). You can also grab a book and a quiet spot and relax all morning. It's a choose your own adventure type of day!
