Karen & Gary met in a bar (of course!) when they were only in their early twenties. They worked extremely hard to provide an incredible life full of laughs, experiences, traditions, and memories for Kaylene and her brother, Dan. Kaylene would not be who she is today without these two as role models in her life. Nick is so grateful to have a mother-in-law he can ask endless life questions to and a father-in-law who is handy and always down for a beer.

Sue & Marc were set up on a blind date by friends and have been together ever since. They worked together as a team to provide a safe, fun, and loving home for Nick, Andrew, and Sarah. Nick is grateful for his parents always being there for him and still loves cooking holiday meals for them today. Kaylene loves spending time with Sue & Marc, especially since Marc always laughs at her dad jokes and Sue is always down to play a board game. She is so glad that Nick's parents raised him to be both kind and hilarious and gave him a love for spending time with family.

Lauren and Kaylene became friends when ice skating (poorly) in middle school and have been close friends ever since. Lauren helped set Kaylene & Nick up at her wedding!

Kaylene and Fallon met in an outdoors club in middle school and were inseparable in middle and high school.

Marisa and Kaylene have known each other since elementary school. Marisa always gets Kaylene in tears laughing over absolutely nothing.

Kaylene met Snow through her brother, Dan. They always enjoy vacations together and Kaylene and Nick love visiting Snow and Dan in NYC. Snow is incredibly creative and talented and helped Nick & Kaylene with their invitations and save-the-dates!

Sarah is Nick’s sister. Kaylene and Sarah immediately bonded over their love for books and TV shows. Kaylene and Nick can’t wait to celebrate Sarah and Tim’s wedding as well!

Meghan and Kaylene met at work as cochlear implant audiologists. Meghan not only keeps Kaylene laughing throughout the work day, but also feeds Kaylene’s creative side.

Amy and Kaylene met during grad school at UNC and are now both cochlear implant audiologists at MUSC. Amy and Kaylene can read each other’s minds and often burst into song together.

Andrew is Nick's younger brother. Kaylene, Nick, and Andrew enjoy playing board and video games together despite living several states apart. Andrew always keeps Kaylene & Nick up to date with the best and newest games and TV shows to check out and loves crashing on the couch with Benny when he visits!

Brian and Nick originally met in Cub Scouts and Little League, but became close friends once they were in high school. Nick and Brian love to banter but always have a good time together. Brian helped set up Kaylene & Nick at his wedding!

Austin and Nick also met in high school. They have endless funny stories of their times sneaking out together in high school, contacting ghosts with a Ouija board, and living together after college. Kaylene & Nick love spending time with Austin and his wife, Kelsey (& their dogs of course!!).

Tim is Nick's sister, Sarah's, fiance. Nick and Tim have known each other since Sarah and Tim met in college. Tim is extremely handy and has the best advice about Kaylene & Nick's new home!

Dan is Kaylene's brother. Nick and Dan first met when Nick came over to watch a movie with the family on the couple's first Christmas Eve together. Dan is extremely intelligent, always funny, and knows the best places in Manhatten for late-night pizza and a good drink!

Kyle and Nick met in college and even worked together for a while at Robert Half. They always have a great time chatting about baseball, fighting about F1 racing, or discussing Disney trips.

Noah is a jack of all trades. He is the husband of Kaylene's bridesmaid, Amy. He has an incredible eye for photography and has been working with Nick since before the engagement to document the wedding process. He is extremely kind and talented and we are so lucky to have him!
