We have a Hassett & Luxner Wedding group rate set up at Kauai Shores Hotel in Kapaʻa for people who would like to come early or stay later. The reservation date range is from October 23, 2025 to November 7th, 2025.

Notes: This hotel is in Kapaʻa which is about 1.5hrs away from the wedding venue. This is a great option for those traveling before or after the wedding weekend.

Our wedding venue (Camp Sloggett) is owned by the YWCA, a non-profit, and is a full campground located near Kōkeʻe State Park. There are other campsite options around the State Park or if camping isn’t your thing book a hotel/motel in Waimea Town.

Camper vans and other camper vehicles are NOT allowed at State Parks or County Parks on Kauaʻi. They ARE allowed at private camp grounds such as Camp Sloggett, Kumu Camp, or Camp Naue.

Tent Camping is allowed and affordable at both State and County Parks, but you must reserve a permit in advanced.

Please drive safely from the wedding back to your hotel. The road is windy and dark at night. Typically takes 45min to drive from the venue to Waimea Town.
