Q + A

How do I get to the venue?

Google maps will get you *almost* to the venue. From Boise/Caldwell, take exit 17 onto Sandhollow road and turn right onto Oasis Drive. Continue straight for a mile and then turn left onto Crest Road (you'll have driven past the Sandhollow Country Store and Cafe and the Country Corners RV park). Continue for a little more than 0.5 miles and then turn left at the second driveway when you see the Sandhollow Wedding and Events sign. Google maps wants to make you turn on a ditch road a little too soon so keep going until you see the sign.

Where is the closest airport?

Boise has an airport that is only 40 minutes from the venue!

If I fly in do I need a rental car?

We would recommend it, yes. The venue is outside of town and 40 minutes from the airport.

Where should I stay?

Check out the travel tab! We listed some hotels, and also recommend Air B&Bs or VRBOs. We caution against staying in Ontario. The hotels are nice there, but the area they are located in leaves some to be desired. If you are having trouble finding a good spot, or have questions please reach out!

Is there a dress code?

Absolutely not, wear whatever makes your heart happy! We will be on beautiful lawn for the day. "Just wear clothes, don't show up naked" - Tate.

Will the wedding be inside or outside?

Outside! Being outside is one thing we love about this venue. There are plenty of shade trees and some limited indoor space but be prepared to be outside :).

What should I expect the weather to be like?

Sunny and warm! Ok maybe even hot... the average high for June in this part of Idaho is upper 80s. Rain is not common in the summer either, so that shouldn't be a worry.

Should I bring cash for the bar?

If you would like a mixed drink then, yes bring some cash because they will be available for purchase. Beer and wine will be complimentary, along with non-alcoholic drinks and water.

What is there to do in the area?

So many things! Just check out the "Things to Do" for recommendations.

Can I bring my dog?

We love our furry friends, but the venue does have horses, so they do not allow dogs. Please leave them at home/your hotel, since they aren't allowed on the grounds or in vehicles. Thank you!
