Located in the Corryville neighborhood of Cincinnati, it’s the oldest German bar and restaurant in the city and has a delightful patio.
Andrew’s favorite place to get Mexican in Cincy, and a staple for the Blum family. Our recommended location is in Norwood by XU.
The site of Kelli and Andrew’s first date. Their fries are so good they pushed Kelli to declare her love to Andrew several months later.
One of Andrew’s favorite places. He took Kelli there for her birthday and she agreed that the fusion of Italian and Argentinian is amazing.
Kelli and Andrew discovered this one together because they had a great Covid-friendly tent in their first year of dating. Their homemade pastas are always perfectly al-dente and the whipped ricotta and bread appetizer is a must.
It’s a Cincy tradition. Don’t question it. Just go for it.
Kim and Kurt Blum’s favorite restaurant. Their patio is only rivaled by their wine selection.
Just across the river, our HBH was the first one built outside of Munich.
This is almost across the street from Andrew's house and their Detroit-style pizza is the stuff daydreams are made of! Do the pepperoni and hot honey and thank us later.
Bars/Breweries:
One of our favorite breweries. Awesome pizza, great vibes, the best beer and lots of pups in the patio.
The journey there will take you through the adorable town of Mariemont. They’ve got great burgers, games, people watching and awesome beer.
One of the first big local breweries in Cincy, Rhinegeist is located in an old bottling plant of a pre-prohibition brewery and is just a block away from the historic Findlay Market. It is massive inside and has a very cool rooftop.
Located in Westwood, the neighborhood where Kelli worked for a decade, this quickly became a staple. Andrew loves all of their seasonal beers.
Originally across the river in Covington, you can now visit them in the Cincy neighborhood of Pendleton. They make some of the best beers in the city.
Walking distance from Andrew’s house this is a good community spot with lots of interesting and unique choices on tap.
Located in Kelli’s neighborhood and walking-distance from the Church, Woodburn has great vibes, interesting cocktails and good beers.
This is THE Xavier bar. It’s a dive, but we love it! Treat yourself to some spicy balls or fresh-cut french fries while you're there.
Coffee:
Cincinnati's favorite coffee shop, they've got something for everyone, no matter your taste. They've also got great pastries and food. Both of their locations are very charming and unique.
Originally located in the neighborhood Kelli grew up in, this place is a favorite of the coffee aficionado. Their flagship store in Oakley has free parking.
Serving up great coffee drinks and simple pastries, this place manages to keep a cult following despite their purposeful lack of wifi. One of their locations is a block away from the Church.
