Celebrating Andrew’s 31st birthday on a hot summer day.

Celebrating Andrew's 31st Birthday in July 2021 at Mecklenburg Gardens. This was special because Andrew's 30th birthday delayed our meeting in person because he had people in town visiting.

Flying Pig weekend 2021. Andrew worked really hard to finish rehabbing his knee after two surgeries in order to train to run the Friday night beer race with Kelli. They had fun despite the rain.

So tired, but so happy to be together for a few days before Kelli went back to school.

In the summer of 2020, there weren't many places that Kelli and Andrew could go to get away for a few days, so they took a day trip to Indian Lake and rented a boat, and had a blast going "out-of-town" together.

Louisville visit to celebrate Andrew's friend Mike returning home from being stationed in Germany for 6 months.

Kelli and her parents love to attend the Christmas edition of the German Mustard Club they belong to and got to take Andrew this year. He has taken to the club traditions with enthusiasm.

Hike with Andrew's friend Jon and his Goddaughter, Emma on a visit to see them in Cleveland in Spring of 2021.

Summer 2020 trip to the Zoo with Kelli's family. We can only hope that the wedding day isn't as hot as that day at the Zoo was!

Meg and Kelli forged their relationship when they shared a carpet square while sleeping on a church basement's concrete floor on a service trip through XU.   As teachers they’ve been able to enjoy lots of summertime fun visiting one another in Boston and Cincy and going to the pool and having weekly coffee dates since Meg moved back to Cincy years ago.

Famously, once called Thunder and Lightning. Mike and Andrew lived together for all four years of college at Xavier. They share a passion for watching sports while eating insane amounts of junk food, rhetoric, and video games. Since college, Andrew has traveled to every stateside location Mike has been posted at. Additionally, Mike has made it to Cincinnati for many birthdays and long weekends over the last nine years.

If we had a dollar for the amount of times we’ve been asked if we’re sisters, we could cover the bar tab for the wedding! Megan and Kelli love to cook together, try new places, travel and run beer-themed races together.

Millennials are supposed to be bad at picking up the phone and calling someone. Pete and Andrew don’t fit that narrative. Their ability to talk about Xavier basketball for hours on end over the phone may only be rivaled by their ability to watch baseball games together. In 2016 alone, they watched over 150 Cubs games together.

As high school besties, Sara and Kelli have shared a lot of life experiences, too many late nights, a few too-early mornings, plenty of concerts and road trips and now settle for a few visits a year and the occasional evening phone call after her adorable kiddos are in bed.

When Andrew first came to college he thought only unsavory people liked soccer and Europe. In 2019 when Andrew went to a soccer match while traveling in Europe it showed how much Jon had rubbed off on Andrew. Andrew also loves nicknames, just ask Kelli. Jon may be the only person on the planet that Andrew has given nearly as many to as Kelli.

EB and Kelli bonded over many, many miles of running and chatting while half-marathon training and probably just as many meals, drinks, and walks to recover.  Work, life, exercise, and fun being balanced is always the goal for these two.

Living together for their first 4 years post college, Andrew spent many years happily serving as the third wheel with John and his wife, Katie. They have shut down many bars together and love late night pizza, despite both being lactose intolerant.

As Kale’s high school sweetheart, Kelli and Julie have known each other for over half their lives. In addition to being the momma of the flowergirl and ringbearer, Julie has always been supportive and gentle in Kelli’s quest to find Andrew.

As an only child, Andrew always hoped he would have a brother-in-law some day. He feels very lucky that Kale is that guy! Kelli would tell you that they are two peas in a pod. And they can talk about college football for days.

A true sign  Melissa and Kelli’s friendship is when Melissa comes across the hall and closes Kelli’s classroom door because she’s being too loud, all while shaking her head and smiling.  After 13 years of teaching together, they have a deep mutual love all things Cincinnati, America, and all-girls schools.  They also always get more work done when they don’t share a plan bell!

KP and Andrew have never gone to school together or lived in the same city. But you would never know that. They’ve spent Christmas together, traveled throughout the US together, and he was one of Grandma Bush’s favorite people. Even if she always called him P.K. K.P. also played a crucial role in Andrew and Kelli’s engagement by serving as a decoy.

There may not be a human being on Earth that Andrew had spent more hours playing video games with, despite losing painstakingly almost every time. Similar to Mike, Matt and Andrew also are very skilled at crushing snacks together. They ate over 5 pounds of Goldfish crackers together last January.

Becks is a fun-loving 6 year old who has been anxiously awaiting the wedding for months and cannot wait for Kelli and Andrew to give her a new cousin.

Bo is a funny four year old who has bonded with Andrew over their mutual love of dinosaurs.  He is most excited about the cocktail hour of the wedding where he'll get to see all the big dinos.

Rated the #1 zoo in the nation in 2021 by USA Today, the Cincinnati Zoo is one of Kelli and Andrew's favorite attractions in the Queen City! Make sure to check out the world-famous Fionia the hippo while you're there. Feeding the giraffes and watching the cheetahs run are other exciting activities at the zoo. Plan 3-5 hours if you're looking to explore the entire venue.

Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden

In the heart of downtown Cincinnati's OTR district sits Ohio's oldest continuously operated public market, a gem of the city. There is ample and affordable parking attached to the market. This is a great place to stop for breakfast, lunch, a cup of coffee, or do some shopping. Kelli and Andrew have spent many weekend mornings planning out exciting dinners at the market. We recommend walking around and enjoying the experience.

Findlay Market

Known to locals as OTR, Over the Rhine is the country's largest selection of Italianate architecture and is absolutely charming. Home to the iconic Music Hall on Elm as well as many bars, restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, and boutiques, OTR is a great destination for window shopping, food, drinks, and strolling. You will find this north of Central Parkway, south of Liberty, east of Elm, and west of Main. Parking can be found on-street or at the Mercer or Washington Park Garages. Most restaurants and shops are found on Vine and Main.

Over the Rhine

Sitting along Cincy's riverfront with expansive views of both the Red's and Bengal's stadiums. The park features swings, play areas, green space, and a water area. Don't miss taking in the view and even taking a walk over the famous Roebling Suspension Bridge, which was the "practice" for the Brooklyn Bridge in NYC.

Smale Riverfront Park

Featuring 14 roller coasters and a water park, Kings Island is a fun place to spend a day in the greater Cincinnati area. It is located 20-25 minutes north of the city and is the second busiest amusement park in the US.

Kings Island

The state of KY reclaimed an old L&amp;N railroad bridge across the Ohio River. They painted it purple and it has become a well-loved destination for people on both sides of the River. It is a great way to take in all the beauty of the City of Cincinnati and the Ohio River. You can access it on the Ohio side if you walk East from Smale Park, or from Bicentennial Commons on Pete Rose Way, just east from Great American Ballpark. You can also access it from the Kentucky side at Newport on the Levee.

Purple People Bridge

Located just across the Ohio River from Downtown Cincinnati, the Newport Aquarium has some interesting features like a shark bridge. While there, you can grab lunch at one of the many restaurants at Newport on the Levee.

A true gem of Cincinnati's Park District. This is a well-loved location for people all over the area and features a beautiful pavilion, fountain, and views of the nearby Lunken airport, where you can watch small planes take off and land. There are also many hiking trails to the left of the Pavillion.

Ault Park

Located in walking distance from the Spring Hill Suites, the Cincinnati Art Museum is an iconic destination in the city. Free for all guests due to a generous endowment from a local family, the building itself is a work of art. There are rotating special exhibits and gorgeous grounds overlooking the city. Be sure to visit the statue of Pinocchio. Can be accessed by climbing up the steps at the corner of Eden Park Drive and Gilbert or by going through the Eden Park. Parking is also free.
