Can I get altitude sickness?
The altitude of Marble, Colorado is 7,992ft. The best way to prevent altitude sickness is to stay hydrated. Water, electrolytes, etc. It is suggested that you bring a water bottle with you to ensure you are staying hydrated.
What do I need to know about alcohol consumption and altitude?
At higher elevation, one's blood tends to be thicker due to there being less oxygen in the air. This makes it so you may get drunk quicker and more easily. It is important to stay hydrated to prevent alcohol sickness. 1-2 drinks at higher elevation could be equivalent to 3-4+ drinks at sea level. To be safe, try to have a glass of water for every drink or two of alcohol.
How do we get to the venue?
There will be shuttle services provided to and from Carbondale, Redstone, and Marble. The shuttles will pick up guests from specific locations at specific times.

Can we drive ourselves to the wedding venue?
There is No Cell Phone Service or Wi-Fi upon leaving Carbondale. No Cell Phone Service or Wi-Fi at the wedding venue. This makes finding the venue difficult.
If guests decide to not use the provided shuttle service, please note that parking is extremely limited.
The drive is on a high mountain curvy road which can be challenging.
Please note, if you decide to drive, we will hold your keys in case we need to move your car.
Can we bring our own instruments?
Yes, please do! Kelli is requesting acoustic jams around the fire from her beloved friends and family. The noise ordinance begins at 22:00 but only pertains to amplified music.
Are we allowed to take pictures and videos during the event?
Please ensure your phone is silenced and refrain from taking pictures and videos during the ceremony. The hired photographer will document the ceremony. Feel free to take pictures and videos any time before or after the ceremony.
Can we stay in the cabins on the wedding venue property?
All of the lodging on the property is reserved for family and the wedding party. We kindly suggest that you refer to our lodging accommodations.
What is the appropriate attire for the wedding?
For the wedding we expect mountain casual or semi formal attire. The wedding venue is rustic with uneven grounds of mostly grass and dirt. Please plan appropriate footwear.
Be sure to bring supportive shoes (hiking boots, tennis shoes) for the hikes and other extra curricular activities.
What is the appropriate attire for the welcome party?
The welcome party is held at a local pizza restaurant. Please feel free to wear whatever you are comfortable in!
What is the weather like in August, in Marble?
The average temperature in Marble for August ranges from 40F-68F. Humidity averages 58%.
In Colorado, we have a saying, "If you don't like the weather, wait five minutes."
Depending on fire restrictions at the time of the wedding, we plan to have campfires at night. We suggest bringing warmer layers for the cooler evenings.

Where is the couple registered?
Your presence at the wedding is their gift. If you do want to give the bride and groom a gift, the couple prefers contributions to their 'Travel Fund' under the website's 'Registry' tab. There will be a table dedicated to gifts and cards if you prefer.
Can we bring our pets?
We kindly ask that you leave your fur babies at home. Thank you.
