We figured out that we make a pretty badass team!

Mike caught Kelli's eye in line at a coffee shop in Farplay. She was on duty, taking a break and Mike (in his street clothes) recognized her uniform and introduced himself as the new Forest Service Officer for South Park. Shortly thereafter, Kelli was on a boat rescue at Spinney Reservoir. Mike recognized Kelli's voice and 'call sign' when she answered the call for the rescue from dispatch. Mike decided to head to 11 Mile, where he found Kelli.

The stars aligned for Kelli and Mike. From hunting, fishing, mountaineering, and being on the water together, to traveling far and beyond; Mike and Kelli knew right away that they wanted to create a life together. In January 2023, Mike proposed to Kelli on a beach in Panama.

The future Mister & Missus cannot wait to celebrate their love together,
