Complete the nationally renowned trail to the Historic Crystal Creek Mill. This is one of the most photographed places in Colorado. Once you see it with your own eyes, it is clear that pictures never do it justice! The trek is 9 miles roundtrip, and averages a 4 hour trek. Be prepared for shared trail use with OHVs and high-clearance capable 4x4 vehicles. You will be rewarded for your efforts with beautiful scenery all throughout the journey!

Redstone Coke Ovens

You will notice these on the right side of the road on your way up to Marble, CO. They were used to cook coal down to its purest form of carbon by the Colorado Fuel and Iron Company. This carbon was used to reinforce steel. They were built in 1899, during the peak mining years in the area.
Penny Hot Springs
How to get there from the town of Redstone:
Head North on Hwy 133 for 3.8mi. Keep eye out for parking lot/pull off on Right side of road with about 20 parking spots. Walk downhill toward river to access pools
Penny Hot Springs is a free place to go soak along the Crystal River. Pools are naturally built with river rock, integrated with flowing river water.
