This hotel is within the Olympic Valley area and a short drive to the venue. This hotel just like the others provides picturesque views of the mountains.
Palisades Tahoe Lodge
Nestled in the Palisades Tahoe village, this hotel is another great option if you want to lodge close to the venue. It is like a timeshare and personally owned but managed by the lodge. If you would like to stay here please reserve early and directly through the hotel
Getting to Tahoe
Air Travel
For those flying to Tahoe, the closest airport is the Reno-Tahoe International Airport. The Reno airport is 45 to 60 minutes away from the wedding weekend festivities (Tahoe City). It's a beautiful drive from Reno to Tahoe!
Sometimes cheaper flights fly into Sacramento, but it's a longer drive (2 to 2.5 hours).
If you want to get a taste of the the San Francisco Bay Area before coming to Tahoe, you can also fly into San Francisco airport (SFO). It typically takes 3.5 hours to drive from SF to Tahoe, but can be longer in traffic (like Friday afternoons).
Ground Transportation
For sight-seeing, we suggest renting a car / finding another guest to carpool with. Uber / Lyft is not reliable in Tahoe.
