Why Roscoe? We chose to have a mini-destination wedding because of how much the small town of Roscoe means to us. Happy places include hiking trails, petting zoos, breweries and distilleries. Roscoe is called Trout Town USA, so it's a wonderful spot to stay if you're a fisherman!
This diner is probably the most famous part of this area. Just off of Route 17, The Roscoe Diner at one point was known for being a famous small town eatery. They were known for serving more customers daily than than it had people populating the town. It became a well known stopping spot for those on the road, and started later attracting more people to come to the small town.
This local breakfast spot is located in the center of town. It has a very extensive coffee menu, along with a really great breakfast, lunch & dessert menu.
The owners are a fly-fishing couple from Brooklyn that opened their own space up here. Open from Friday-Monday, this place has an amazing seasonal food menu, not to mention an amazing cocktail selection. Walk-ins only, with drinks served from 4pm-midnight & food served from 5pm-9:30pm,
Buck Brook Alpacas is a local alpaca farm in the area. You can visit the site and arrange anything from a private site tour to alpaca yoga sessions, raw gem mining, craft workshops, & more!
This local waterfall is a fun hike if you're a nature lover! We recommend hiking with a partner just to be safe. If you're on the app "All Trails", this is on there.
This local brewery is located in the center of town and is usually pretty crowded. In the Summer and Fall, there are usually live bands and events almost every weekend. They have their own crafted beers and great bar food.
This distillery has been noticed previously for making "the best vodka in New York" as well as manufacturing their own gin and bourbon in more recent years. We like coming here because it is great go-to spot for finely crafted cocktails, and they also have as beer from local Catskill breweries. Most importantly, there is food and live music every weekend in the Summer and Fall.
This brewery is in Livingston Manor, about 15-20 minutes from the town of Roscoe. We love the environment, beer selections, and overall vibe of the place!
