Kevin and Lorena first met at a mutual friends Halloween party “Vivian & Bryan’s” in October 2015. Lorena at the time just started dating another guy that pulled a no show on her which left her in a poor mood. Kevin’s first thought of Lorena that night was, “she is a bitch” because of her sour attitude. Kevin didn’t know at the time that her new boyfriend ditched her. Lorena’s first impression of Kevin that night was, “he is a creep” because he went to the basement alone with her much younger friend.

After that night Lorena friend requested Kevin on the good ole facebook. She added him because Amanjot said he is cool. Kevin was surprised to see a friend request from Lorena because they barley spoke the previous night. He accepted her request because he was into meeting new people. They hung out various times with mutual friends and developed a friendship. The more he got to know Lorena and all the things she was into he began becoming interested and developing feelings. He knew she was dating another guy however, he thought if she ever became available this was someone he would like to pursue. Lorena never knew Kevin felt this way.

Eventually Lorena ended her relationship with her previous boyfriend and starting hanging out with Kevin more often. They would go hiking, motorcycle rides, watch UFC fights, and go on adventures.

Lorena at first thought maybe Kevin and her could be friends with benefits. She was not looking for another relationship at the time. However, the more Kevin and her hung out and got to know each other she began having feelings and decided the idea of friends with benefits with him would not work and never explored it.

The first date Kevin and Lorena went on was to the movies followed by a night walk. Lorena had a suspicion Kevin wanted to kiss her and that made her really nervous. So when they got back to the movie parking lot Kevin was standing there making it obvious he wanted to go in for a kiss. Lorena being nervous blurted out “you trying to kiss me or something?”. Kevin had a stunned looked followed by “ahhhh yes”. To Lorena the first kiss turned her off. Not that it was bad just that the energy connection was something she had never experienced. Kevin left that night feeling like he was on cloud number nine while Lorena left thinking she doesn’t ever want to see him again. Lorena quickly called her sister to explain the experience. Her sister thought she was being silly and that she should give him another shot because she has been yapping about how much she liked him. A week later Lorena asked Kevin if he wanted to go for a hike to Wesach falls. Kevin was down and met Lorena that weekend. On that hike Lorena made the move to hold his hand for the hike. When they hiked their way down to the bottom of the waterfall, right beside the water, Kevin grabbed Lorena close and gave her another smoch. That kiss had her higher then cloud number nine.

On Lorena’s birthday Kevin sent her a big bouquet of flowers to her work with a card. Inside the card it said something about her being his girlfriend. Kevin never officially asked Lorena to be in a relationship so she texted him thanking him for the flowers and asked about the girlfriend part. Kevin explained how he thought that is what they were and she said he never asked her. The day after her birthday, Oct 5, he officially asked her to be a relationship and the journey began.

For their one year anniversary Kevin treated her to one of her bucket list travel locations, Maui Hawaii. This place was magical for them. Lorena knew Kevin was the man of her dreams and knew then this is the man she going to marry.

Oct 3 2021 Kevin took Lorena to another place on her bucket list, “Lake Louise”. The entire drive there Lorena had a suspicion and a feeling that Kevin may propose to her because he was acting extra lovey dovey. When they arrived to the Fairmount in Lake Louise they couldn’t check into there room because it was not ready yet. So they checked their luggage into the hotel reception and went for a hike. On the hike Lorena noticed Kevin was very protective of the back pack and would not let her go in it. When they arrived back at their hotel Kevin said they were on the 4th floor however, he took her to the very top floor. Lorena was like wtf. This is not the 4th floor and Kevin had a mischievous smile. When Kevin open the door to the signature suite she was totally surprised and again her suspicions were rising. Kevin told her to go upstairs and enjoy the view from the balcony. She asked if he was coming and he said he would be right up. She thought that was strange so she said she had to pee first. While she was in the bathroom she heard Kevin open the back pack. Again her suspicion risen. Kevin and Lorena walked upstairs to the balcony of their suite that over looked the glacier and Lake Louise. Lorena was looking at the gorgeous view when she reached for Kevin while turning around and found him on one knee. Kevin said “Lorena Jeannine….” Lorena jumped up and down and screamed yes before he could asked. She almost bulldozed him over. She then realized she cut him off and maybe he was not asking her what she thought. So she quickly said “what were saying?”. He said “will you marry me?” Lorena already said yes and said yes again. And here they are today, getting marry in Hawaii, the place where their love rooted and sprouted for each other.
