I met Katie for the first time in Maui Hawaii. Katie is Kevin's good friend who is also the spouse of Kevin's best friend Scott. We planned a couples vacation to Hawaii to meet each other all for the first time and we all just clicked. Since then Katie and I have become close, she is like a soul sister. She is a diamond in the ruff, when and if you take the time to know her she will only continue to amaze you. You will find Katie roller blading Stanley Park listening to her jam or loving her cat Marley. She also is a rugby player so beware she a strong but mighty human. Katie and I are both competitive people and strive to do/be our best. Thankfully we have never had to compete against each other, as that could be interesting. Haha. Scott and I go back to Mrs Coulomb’s high school home room in grade nine. Scott got me into lifting during lunch hour and our friendship grew from there. Over the past two plus decades, Scott has been a constant friend through life’s various changes. Scott is a humble kinda fellow, very reliable and someone that I’m grateful to have in my life. You will find Scott doing chin ups in Stanley park on his morning ritual workout. A constant phrase you will hear from Scott is “that is key”. Scott loves Real Estate, travelling, wearing long patterned printed socks, and a fine cigar. Scott and his long term spouse “Katie” celebrated Lorena and I’s first anniversary with us in Maui over 7 years ago. It’s with honour to have him stand by my side as I marry the women of my dreams. To describe Scott in a few words it would be: Humble, entrepreneurial, fit, intelligent, disciplined, self motivated, ambitious and charismatic

My sister from another Mr. We both are Libras which means we both are silly, fun, charming, and so naturally we just click. Ariel and I share many great fun and adventures memories. Ariel is the kind of friend that treats you like family. Her home is very homie, she always has a bed for you and will make sure you are well fed. This lady is probably one of the rarest people you will find and if you are lucky enough to have her in your life you truly are blessed. If I were to describe Ariel in a few words it would be charming, respectful, supportive, intelligent, fun, and trustworthy.

I first met Jasper when Lorena and I went to Smithers to celebrate Ariel’s birthday. Jasper is Ariel’s spouse. I quickly recognize that anytime with Jasper was a good time and would leave me with multiple hang overs. We have spent a lot of time over the years hanging out. Whether it’s planned visits or us passing through, we find time to mingle even if it’s just a few hours. Jasper and his family have become our family. Jasper and I both enjoy football with Seahawks being both our favourite teams. You will find Jasper listening to loud music, standing in front of the TV yelling at football games and a drink in his hand. Jasper is the life of the party, there is not a dull moment with him around. You don’t have to worry about a shortage of drinks at his house as he loves to make drinks. They all taste good. Jasper is loud you can’t miss him. You will find Jasper playing golf, hitting the slopes, BBQing, playing ball, watching sports, and spending time with his family. Jasper is very generous and giving. He will give you a bed to sleep in and food in your belly. In my case too much food in my belly. To describe Jasper in a few words it would be: Loud, fun, life of the party, giving, and generous.

I’m lucky enough to say my sister is also a close friend of mine. Sure we have the typical sister mishaps here and there but my sister is always there for me. She has been on this human journey with me for so long that we have had the pleasure of being there for each in our greatest moments and our lowest. The saying “blood is thicker than water” rings true in our family. If I were to describe my sister in a few words it would be workhorse, intelligent (she can teach herself how to do anything n exceed at it), determined, loyal, reliable, and protective.

Lorena and I had only been dating for three weeks when she invited me to thanks giving dinner at his house. Richard you could tell was a family man however I notice quickly that Richard was a funny guy. He was spinning jokes or would playfully and jokingly throw digs out to his family members. If Jeremy and him got going at each other it was extremely entertaining. Richard is the kind of man that will give you his shirt off his back, will come to your aid if you need help, takes care of his family, and makes a dam good brisket. You will catch Richard riding his motorcycle or working around the yard. Richard is family but he has become a good friend. Camping trips, motorcycle rides, quadding, trips and hunting are some of thing I enjoy doing with Richard. To describe Richard in a few words it would be: Reliable, helpful, supportive, humble, giving, and wise

I met Lauren through Jen, we have been friends for years however the last few years we have become close. Lauren is a secret gem, once you really get to know her you will like many thing about her. Her dark humour I find hilarious however shocking at the same time. Her and I share many similarities, sometimes I wonder if she is a partial mirror image of myself haha. She is a soul sister, wish I met her sooner. You can find her chilling with her dogs, kayaking, hiking, walking, and a drink in her hand. If I were to describe her in a few words it would be funny, trustworthy, generous, adventurous, smart, and loyal AF.

I met Tyler through Lauren. I quickly realized that him and I both love Milwaukee tools and bikes. I’m looking forward to the future of this new friendship, where Ty and I will be riding our motorcycle together and dragging knees at the track. Tyler is a red seal journeyman plumber, and thankfully keeps his crack in his pants. He is helpful and will lend a helping hand when you are in a crunch. You can find Tyler spending time with his lady “Lauren”, plumbing pipes, hanging with his dog, and chilling. To describe Tyler in a few words it would be: Helpful, chill, caring, and fun

Jen hired me to be her personal fitness trainer and we became friends instantly. Jen and I are like sisters we just understand each other, I don’t know how to explain it. We just mesh! She is always there for me regardless. We share a lot of similar interests like the outdoors, camping, hiking, country music and adventure. You can find Jen gardening, walking, on some kind of adventure, and socializing with her friends. If I were to describe Jen in a few words it would be kind (she would give her shirt off her back for you), strong, determine, humble, and patient.

Bryan and I met through Jen. He is the kind of guy that is chill and quiet when you first meet him but then becomes chatty. Bryan is a carpenter and is good at what he does. You can find him snowmobiling, camping, chilling, skeet shooting, and fossil hunting. Bryan is a good time, his humour I find entertaining. To describe Bryan in a few words it would be: Outdoorsy, venturous, Interesting, fun, and calm

Caitlyn and I became besties when we were in grade eight while on a band trip. You would find us laughing our heads off, being overly competitive and always on some kind of adventure. Caitlyn and I did everything together we were inseparable in our younger days. I even foraged my course sheets to make sure we were always in the same classes through high school. We always joked she would marry my brother and we would be family for real someday. Little did we know that would actually come true. Caitlyn and I loved adventuring and frog hunting, except for when I accidentally ran a frog over. If I were to describe Caitlyn in a few words it would be competitive, ambitious , thoughtful, adventurous, and fun.

I met Jeremy through Lorena, this is her youngest sibling. Jeremy is a fun guy, he enjoys the outdoors, and he is very practical. He is a heavy duty mechanic, a grease monkey, he fixes all his stuff. Quite the handyman. Jeremy is confident, blunt and easily shares his opinions, even if they are not favourable. No beating around the bush from this guy. You will find him cracking jokes and roasting people with his quick come backs. All in fun of course unless you are easily offended. Jeremy is an outdoor man, you will find camping, snowboarding, hunting, riding his motorcycle, and always finding a way to get an adrenal rush with creative clever ideas. He is a family man, his wife and children are always spending quality, family adventurous times together. I find Jeremy to be fearless, he does what he thinks is a good idea and goes with it. Even if it sometimes results in an injury, broken bones, or a dislocated toe. To describe Jeremy is a few words it would be: Fearless, witty, confident, practical, fun and adventurous

Mikayla is Lorena’s Godchild and holds a special place in Lorena’s heart. When Denise was pregnant with Mikayla, Lorena was there through the entire journey including her birth. Mikaylas birth acted as the best birth control for Lorena. Ouch! When Lorena first held Mikayla she felt a special bond that is indescribable in words. To Lorena Mikayla is one of her own. Mikayla like her mother is a natural artist. You will find her drawing in her sketch book, reading books, and baking. She is a dam good baker which it comes at no surprise that she is working towards being a Red Seal Chef. Since a young age she has been wise beyond her time and age. She is also very smart, intelligent, intellectual, caring, and a hard worker, Mikayla is a work horse. She is always working even while going to college full time. I have never met a young adult at her age with such a hefty savings account. Mikayla beats to her own drum, moves at her own pace, and is very independent. She has bought and paid for her own motorcycle and car. She loves to listen to music to loud while having a heavy foot in her yellow bug. Mikayla doesn’t let anything hold her down or back. She will always find a way to rise up and persevere. A few words to describe Mikayla: Workaholic, independent, artistic, wise, smart, caring, and determined.

Brayden is my younger brother. For a red head he is a laid back kinda guy. Him and I share many similar interest such as shooting, cars, working out, need for speed, and drinking beer. Brayden pounds back beers faster then I do. He is always down for a good time even if he has to get up early for work the next day or go to school hung over. He is going to school to be a plumber and thankfully he keeps his crack in his pants. I’m looking forward to having a brother that will be into trades as hopefully he will give me the family deal, free. You can find Brayden shooting his gun at the range, gaming, shopping for expensive shoes and driving his car way too fast which lands him with speeding tickets. If I were to describe Brayden in a few words it would be, chill, caring, night owl, and loyal.

Richie loves to play sports but he loves, loves, loves soccer. Richie is natural talent when it comes to soccer. He is a fast runner, naturally energetic, and can handle the ball like nobodies business. Richie is short for his age however, his height doesn’t dampen his ability to play soccer. In fact people are always requesting Richie to be on their team. At such a young age “13” Richie has been invited and participated in the White Cap Youth camp multiple times. Richie loves to be outdoors. You will find him camping, ripping around on his dirt bike and wanting to go hunting with his dad. Like his Mother and Aunt, Richie is an Air Cadet. This allows him to participate in many outdoor events like survival weekends, gliding, and army camps. He is a spectacular young man that is disciplined, a high achiever and is extremely helpful. If you every need a hand or need help Richie will jump in and step up to the plate. Richie is a hard worker. He works hard to advance his athletic ability and will also do things like cut your grass to make cash. A few words to describe Richie: Athletic, helpful, empathic, outdoorsy, high achiever, loyal, and hard worker.

Hudson has a smile that can light up anyones day, it’s contagious. He is a splitting image of what Jeremy looked like when he was this age except Hudson has his mama kisser. Hudson was born shortly after Lorena and Kevin’s relationship started. Hudson was the glue that rebounded a special friendship for Lorena that got lost along the way with an old previous friend. He is a special person to have given such a wonderful gift at a young age. Hudson is always down for a fun, thrilling time. He loves to do things that gets his adrenal running. You will find him enjoying quad rides with his dad or ripping around like a wild animal on his quad. Never afraid, just wants more, more, more and doesn’t want to ease off that throttle, like his father. Hopefully Hudson will be more wise with his need for speed and adrenal highs to avoid breaking as many bones as his dad has. If Julie was Lorena’s child she would be a splitting imagine of what Lorena was like when she was that young. Thankfully, Julie is the child of Lorena’s sister “Denise” who has to deal with this wonderful human. As much as Julie is wild, fun, and will talk your ears off she is an amazing human. Her personality is addictive! You will never be bored with Julie around, nor will there be a shortage of laughs as she naturally is silly. She thinks of creative ways to have fun or ways to get in trouble. She likes to beat to her own drum and do things her own way. Heaven forbid if things don’t go her way and she doesn’t want to compromise, you will be lucky enough to see her temper tantrum, which she gets from her father Richard. Like her Aunty, Julie likes to sing her heart out. When Kevin & Lorena leave town Julie loves to babysit Desmo, and Desmo loves Julie. She treats Desmo like a baby and has good motherly traits. Julie is the crazy child of the bunch but you will be crazy in love with her. A few words to describe Julie: Mischievous, talkative, clever, pet lover, stealthy, wild and silly

Jordyn is a sweet and thoughtful little girl, she is always happy. She is the kind of person that loves to be included but also can beat to her own drum. She is deeply caring, she leaves nobody out, will console you if are feeling blue and gives the most loving hugs. She is strong, pain does not phase her, she will get back up and carry on like nothing happened. Jordyn has always be fascinated with Kevin’s beard since she was born. She in fact will give Kevin hugs first over Lorena and would rather sit on his lap over hers. A few words to describe Jordyn: Tough, caring, happy, and chill
