What are the addresses of the ceremony and the reception venues?

Both the ceremony and reception will be at Hall 31 located at 3602 S 31st St, Omaha, NE 68105

Is there parking at the wedding venue?

Yes! There is a small parking lot at the venue, but since we will be at a tavern, it might not be a bad idea to get a ride service.

Will it be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be outdoors but we will then move indoors for the reception.

Have you reserved a block of rooms at a hotel?

Due to the size of the wedding, we have not reserved a block, but Matt and Krista and some of the party will be staying downtown (looking at the Courtyard Marriott, as of now).

Will there be a shuttle to/from the hotel?

Dress Code?

Semi-formal. We want this to be a fun, relaxed occasion so no need to rent a tux, but keep it classy :)

What will the weather be like?

In previous years, it has been in the 60s with a drop in the temperature at night. It shouldn’t be too cold for the ceremony and then we will be inside for the reception.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Yes!

Am I allowed to bring children?

We aren’t against it but we will be at a tavern, so it might not be the best place to bring children.

What type of food will be served at the reception?

We will be doing a taco bar with lots of different options, including some vegetarian options. If anyone is vegan, please let us know so we can try to plan for that as well.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions?

Yes, we will do everything we can to accommodate any dietary restrictions and providing vegan options. If you have any, please let us know and we will make sure to plan for it.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! The only thing that will not be covered are shots.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

If you do bring gifts to the wedding, we will have a table up by the door for them. Otherwise, you can also send them directly to us at 14809 Pratt Ct. #304, Omaha, NE 68116

What is the wedding itinerary?

We are working on that now, but the ceremony will begin at 5:30 PM, with pictures to follow and then dinner. From there, dancing, games, and all the other classic wedding things until they kick us out at 11!

What time should I arrive before the ceremony?

We would suggest getting there 30 minutes before the ceremony.

When will the reception end? Is there an afterparty?

The reception will end at 11. We will probably do something after but nothing planned right now.

Will there be a time gap in between the ceremony and reception?

Yes, there will be about a 30-45 minute time gap in between the ceremony and reception so that we can take a few more pictures. The bar will be open during this time, though!

What is there to do in town?

It’s Omaha! There’s so much to do! The Zoo! The Old Market! Benson! Live music! Casinos in Council Bluffs! Looking for good places to eat? We have that too!

Will there be any other events over the weekend?

Probably! Details to come.

Will you be live streaming the wedding?

Yes! Since we have family who won’t be able to make it, we will be streaming the ceremony. Details to come.

What health and safety measures will be taken for the wedding?

We are encouraging everyone to at least get tested for COVID before coming to the ceremony. This won’t be a large wedding, but we still want to make sure we are being safe!
