It was important to us to choose a mountain location that was convenient for our guests traveling to get to, especially those traveling in from out of state.

Granby is less than 2 hours from Denver by car. If you're flying in, you'll want to fly into Denver International Airport. From there, you can rent a car or take the A-line train ($10 fare) directly into downtown Denver.

From Denver, there are several other transportation options to Granby if you don't rent a car, such as the Winter Park Express (train), or the Bustang (bus/shuttle). However, we do recommend renting a car for convenience, as you're likely going to want to sightsee and explore the area throughout the weekend in the mountains! Although all roads are paved, there are switchback roads to get to Granby (Berthoud Pass) from Denver, so a 4-wheel drive vehicle or mid-sized SUV is recommended to be most comfortable handling the steep roads. But rest assured, Krista's done the drive in a 2008 Pontiac Vibe many times, so you're safe either way for sure!

PLEASE NOTE: Ubers and Lyfts are not common in this area so we highly encourage you to book accommodations on-site and to drink responsibly.

There is an abundance of condos, airbnbs, and homes to choose from located at Base Camp at Granby Ranch, as well as throughout the resort and area, as a whole. We recommend reserving accommodations as soon as possible, and choosing a location close to Base Camp so that you can simply walk back to your room after our reception. This means looking for lodging that says "Base Camp" in the description or "Slopeside" (see map above). Popular condo rental complexes are: Base Camp One and Mountainside at Silver Creek and most require a 2-night minimum stay when you put in your settings. Lyfts/Ubers/Shuttles are limited in Granby.

Once the email is received, the group code and discount will be applied and an email confirmation will be issued. For bookings made on vacasa.com, within 30 days of arrival, full payment will be processed, and the difference will be reimbursed at the time of the rate adjustment.

Additionally, the Inn at Silvercreek provides affordable pricing for accommodations, just approx. a 5-minute drive from Base Camp, still located within the Granby Ranch area. Please note that for this option, you will likely need to drive to/from the reception area and drink responsibly.
