Please take a screenshot of the signed waiver/confirmation on your phone, so that you will be able to show the lift operators before loading the lift for the ceremony. If you do not wish to take the chairlift up the mountain, a Granby Ranch shuttle will be provided in front of Base Camp. We kindly ask that all waivers are signed prior to 3pm on Saturday, Sep 6, to ensure there are no delays with our 4pm ceremony start time. Thank you so much!

Chairlift Waiver

In late September of 2020, a boy walked into a bar. It was the wrong bar. So 15 minutes later, he walked into the right bar that the girl specified from the *beginning* was the bar she'd be at... and the rest is history (hilarious, fun history due to the undeniable charm of the boy for nearly 5 years after this first date). From humble beginnings wearing masks while meeting in the pandemic, to countless travels and adventures since, we are so excited to continue our adventures together and celebrate with you in the Rocky Mountains. It means the world to us to have the chance to bring our favorite people together for a weekend in the state we call home, so we thank you in advance for considering to join us. We feel very humbled and fortunate to have you all in our lives both near and far. So let's boogie!

It was important to us to choose a mountain location that was convenient for our guests traveling to get to, especially those traveling in from out of state. Granby is less than 2 hours from Denver by car. If you're flying in, you'll want to fly into <a href="https://www.flydenver.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Denver International Airport</a>. From there, you can rent a car or take the A-line train ($10 fare) directly into downtown Denver. From Denver, there are several other transportation options to Granby if you don't rent a car, such as the <a href="https://www.amtrak.com/winter-park-express" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Winter Park Express</a> (train), or the <a href="https://ridebustang.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Outrider_InfoCard_Craig-Denver.pdf" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Bustang</a> (bus/shuttle). However, we do recommend renting a car for convenience, as you're likely going to want to sightsee and explore the area throughout the weekend in the mountains! Although all roads are paved, there are switchback roads to get to Granby (Berthoud Pass) from Denver, so a 4-wheel drive vehicle or mid-sized SUV is recommended to be most comfortable handling the steep roads. But rest assured, Krista's done the drive in a 2008 Pontiac Vibe many times, so you're safe either way for sure! PLEASE NOTE: Ubers and Lyfts are not common in this area so we highly encourage you to book accommodations on-site and to drink responsibly.

There is an abundance of condos, airbnbs, and homes to choose from located at Base Camp at Granby Ranch, as well as throughout the resort and area, as a whole. We recommend reserving accommodations as soon as possible, and choosing a location close to Base Camp so that you can simply walk back to your room after our reception. This means looking for lodging that says "Base Camp" in the description or "Slopeside" (see map above). Popular condo rental complexes are: Base Camp One and Mountainside at Silver Creek and most require a 2-night minimum stay when you put in your settings. Travel + Accommodations

Hiking and mountain biking trails are abundant directly at Granby Ranch, along with a popular golf course on-site.

Granby Ranch is about 40 miles outside of Rocky Mountain National Park. This is perfect for a day trip if you'd like to drive through the park and sightsee, or of course, there's several stunning hiking trails within the park, as well.

Both Grand Lake and Lake Granby are popular destinations, located about 30 minutes from Granby Ranch by car. The lakes offer mountain views, boat and kayak rentals, beaches, hiking trails, and more. We encourage you to spend some time exploring the historic Western towns of Grand Lake and Old Town Granby and you can easily do both in an afternoon or day!

Devil's Thumb Ranch and Resort is one of the most popular resorts in Colorado, located about 20 minutes from Granby Ranch. It's a stunning, luxurious spot for grabbing lunch or dinner with mountain views, treating yourself to a spa experience, horseback riding, etc.. There are a couple of restaurants and bars onsite to choose from — Clay and I ate at the Ranch House Restaurant and Saloon in June and we loved it.

Book a day of golfing at Granby Ranch, right next to where you'll be staying. This is Clay's expertise... Krista knows nothing about golf so ask Clay if you want to set up some golf time!

Winter Park is another popular ski resort about 15-20 minutes from Granby Ranch, with plenty of summer activities, restaurants, bars, etc..
