Flying to Miami International Airport and renting a car, or taking the Greyhound Bus down, are other options to consider! The drive/bus from Miami to Key West is between 3-5 hours long, with beautiful ocean views most of the way!

We recently discovered that taking the bus is our new favorite way to get to and from Miami. It’s air-conditioned, with WIFI, a toilet, plus comfortable seating with reclining chairs and huge windows to enjoy the island views along the way. The cost is low, around $33 per person depending if you pick your own seat. Enjoy the ride!

Located in “New Town” at the top of Key West, on the Gulf of Mexico. Many of our friends and family have stayed here prior, and we recommend it as well! They offer free shuttles to Old Town, has a nice swimming pool and bar, plus a Starbucks. It’s a great hotel that meets all of your basic needs, and typically less expensive compared to “Old Town” prices.

Opal Key Resort and Marina is located just past Comedy Key West, heading towards the sunset. It is the closest hotel to our ceremony and reception! Opal Key offers stunning views, two pools, restaurant and bar onsite, and a “stone’s throw away” from Mallory Square!
