It was the summer before my senior year at Mississippi State in June 2019. My friends Hayden and Caleb had tickets to go to a Florida Georgia Line concert that was happening in just a couple of days! They asked me to go last minute and I was definitely in, but I had no clue at the time that I had made one of the best decisions of my life! It was June 15th, and we arrive at the concert in Southaven, MS. We had lawn tickets so we could just sit wherever we wanted, and it was a huge area! We happened to sit right next to this gorgeous blue eyed blonde hair girl that immediately caught my eye! We were sitting there waiting on FGL to come on stage and my friends were urging me to talk to her but it was taking me a while to build up the courage! Luckily I got a little help from her when all of a sudden she crushed a cup and it made a really loud noise that definitely got everyone’s attention! From there I was finally able to speak to her, and I immediately fell in love with her infectious smile and personality! I was so in awe of just being able to talk to this beautiful girl that I forgot to even ask her what her name was but right before FGL came out I asked her for her snapchat! All summer all I could think about was that girl I had met at the concert, and I told myself I wouldn’t waste any time asking her out once we got back to school in August! On the second day of school, fate revealed itself. We ran into each other on campus, and I asked her to go on a date with me on that Friday! I picked her up from her dorm that night and we went to Bulldog Burger and to see the Lion King at the theatre! It was the most perfect first date and she had me hooked from that first day! Since then we haven’t looked back and I’ve fallen in love with her over and over again every single day! Now here we are, and I get to marry the love of my life and share every concert and moment of my life with her!

It was June of 2019, and I had recently graduated from high school and was working as a camp counselor for the YMCA. My friend, Abbi, and I decided that we were going to get tickets to the Florida Georgia Line concert that was happening only a few days away in Southaven, MS. It was a spontaneous and last minute decision, but little did I know that it would end up being the best decision I've ever made! When we got to the concert on June 15th, Abbi and I headed towards the lawn area. In the lawn area, you can sit anywhere you'd like, and it is an enormous space you get to choose from. After we sat down in our spot, a group of guys sat right next to us. The guy that was sitting closest to me with the cutest black, curly hair had instantly caught my eye. I got so nervous being around him that I, for no reason at all, crushed my plastic cup and made the loudest sound in the whole amphitheatre. I felt so bad about how loud it was, but at least it gave this guy an opportunity to start a conversation with me. We ended up talking till the start of the concert, and before it started, he asked me for my snapchat (cheesy I know). I gave him my snapchat username, but he didn't talk to me for the whole summer. Even though we barely talked for the rest of the summer, I was still thinking about him all the time! About a month and half after that concert, I moved into my dorm at MSU. That day, I saw his name pop up on my phone, and boy did I get excited. That was when I also realized that it was his plan all along to wait until we were in Starkville together to talk to me again. We then started "snapchatting" each other for about a week, and then the craziest thing happened. On the second day of school, we ran into each other in the most chaotic part of campus during the busiest time of the day. At that point, we knew that this was a sign from God telling us that we needed to go on a date. That very next day, he took me on our first date to Bulldog Burger and then to the movies. The date went so perfect, and I knew he was something special. Now, that cute guy with the curly, black hair is my soon-to-be husband!
