This historic property was once the home of William Faulkner, a famous novelist and poet. Although the house was built in 1844, it wasn't purchased by Faulkner till the 1930's. Tours for inside of the house are available, but you can chose to walk around the premises for free!
Oxford Square is the perfect place to shop, dine, or to take a walk! Some of my favorite boutiques and restaurants are located in the square, along with the coolest coffee shops. I highly recommend going to the rooftop of the Graduate Oxford Hotel for a drink and an appetizer to kick of the wedding weekend!
If you like a good and big breakfast, this place is perfect for you! The biscuits are known to be the best, and the coffee is locally roasted. It is a cute breakfast spot that puts a New Orleans style spin on your traditional breakfast favorites. BBB would be the perfect spot for a day after the wedding brunch!
Taylor Grocery and Restaurant is a local favorite! It is known as "the catfish place" because of its reputation of having the best catfish in the south. The restaurant was built in 1889 and was used as a dry goods store. This place is right down the road from the venue, making it perfect for lunch before the wedding or the day after!
