What is the attire for the wedding?

The attire is dressy. It is not beach casual. Men should wear a jacket but a tie is optional. Please, no jeans, shorts or flip flops, etc. Dress to impress! Additionally we have chosen all shades of ivory, champagne, and light tans as our wedding colors. If our guests wouldn't mind we thought it would look elegant if everyone were wearing similar colors or light pastels. However, if you don't no worries! We want you to celebrate with us regardless of the color of your attire. It shouldn't be too warm during the service (3 pm- 3:45 pm) as the average high is 83 but after the sun goes down the average low is 71 in mid November.

There are 2 large national parks that are amazing. They are Xel-ha (shell ha) and Xcaret (ish carret). I have been to both many times and they do not disappoint. They have everything you need to have a great time no matter what you are interested in from an underwater river (Xcaret) to tubing through a mangrove forest (Xel-ha) to swimming with the dolphins and snorkeling or visiting an authentic Mayan Village, etc. There is a monkey sanctuary that is pretty cool called Fundación Santuario Akumal. Or if you want to zipline and swim in a Cenote you could go to Selvatica. I've been and it was a lot much fun. You climb trees and zip from one tree to another ala Tarzan ;) I've pasted links. Of course you can visit the Mayan Ruins, take a day trip to Cozumel or Isla Mujeras and the list goes on to many other fun options.

No, all of the suites are equipped with standard North American sockets (Type A, sometimes Type B).

Yes, tell your CC card company that you're going to Mexico!!! Otherwise they'll suspect fraud and usually deactivate it after the 3rd charge. I know from experience. Having said that you do need cash for tipping the staff. It's all inclusive but a little goes a long way with the resort staff. They appreciate your tips and in my experience will give you extra special service when you do so. I don't know how easy it is to get cash there so just bring a lot of ones. You also need cash for off site expenses. You can use a CC I'm sure but usually there's an extra fee on international charges.

To Tip or not to Tip?

Tip!! Just because this is an all inclusive resort it doesn't mean that the staff shouldn't get tips. Every Caribbean resort I've been to has an incredible amount of staff who are extremely nice, accommodating and eager to please you. They earn their tips. BUT if you're using a credit card check the bill before you pay because the tip may already be included. We realized that the last day of our stay 2 years ago at another resort.
