Our story begins in April 2018 at one of Arizona's most romantic spots - the Maya Dayclub pool ;). After being loose acquaintances via a mutual friend for several months, we got to talking at length at Maya and quite literally never stopped. Something clicked and from there our relationship took off.

Over the last five years together we've done some pretty incredible things. Including many trips to Montana and Hawaii to visit Kwyn's family, Michigan and San Diego to visit Sage's family, Austin, Vegas, Chicago and more. We've also bonded over our shared love for sports (both as participants and observers), outdoors, trying new things and going new places.

Sage proposed on top of A Mountain in Tempe; one of the first places we went when we started dating and continued to frequent throughout our relationship. The short but steep hike gets you high enough to view the entire valley and he planned it perfectly for sunset.

Any time we've hiked or gone anywhere with a view, we set up a phone and record a video that we can screenshot pictures from later. In the middle of this posing session, just as the sun was beginning to set, Sage dropped to a knee and popped the big question.

I was completely taken by surprise, and though I blacked out from excitement for a minute, I can safely say it was one of the best moments of my life. Getting to tell everyone the news after made it even more special.
