Our Wedding

Our story begins in April 2018 at one of Arizona's most romantic spots - the Maya Dayclub pool ;). After being loose acquaintances via a mutual friend for several months, we got to talking at length at Maya and quite literally never stopped. Something clicked and from there our relationship took off. Over the last five years together we've done some pretty incredible things. Including many trips to Montana and Hawaii to visit Kwyn's family, Michigan and San Diego to visit Sage's family, Austin, Vegas, Chicago and more. We've also bonded over our shared love for sports (both as participants and observers), outdoors, trying new things and going new places.

Let's take it back to 2018...

Sage proposed on top of A Mountain in Tempe; one of the first places we went when we started dating and continued to frequent throughout our relationship. The short but steep hike gets you high enough to view the entire valley and he planned it perfectly for sunset. Any time we've hiked or gone anywhere with a view, we set up a phone and record a video that we can screenshot pictures from later. In the middle of this posing session, just as the sun was beginning to set, Sage dropped to a knee and popped the big question. I was completely taken by surprise, and though I blacked out from excitement for a minute, I can safely say it was one of the best moments of my life. Getting to tell everyone the news after made it even more special.

Ariel is Kwyn's oldest sister. They grew very close while living together in Arizona and Kwyn was honored to be Ariel's Maid of Honor in her 2019 wedding in Hawaii. Ariel continues to be one of Kwyn's go to people for advice and has always counted on her to help her through life's tougher stuff.

Danika is Kwyn's older sister and second out of the four girls. Being only two years apart, Danika and Kwyn played on a lot of sports teams together growing up. Since their athlete days they've enjoyed many river days, camping trips and hikes together.

Tiana is Kwyn's youngest sister. Growing up, Tiana and Kwyn played together endlessly and have since become each other's confidants. They bond over a shared love of books, movies and TV shows.

Bannick is Kwyn's nephew and the love of her life (outside of Sage of course). They share the same birthday on Oct. 21 and in Kwyn's opinion this makes them specially bonded for eternity.

Jordan and Sage have been friends since the elementary school days in Michigan. Through all the stages of life they stuck by each other's side. Even living across the country from each other, their friendship has remained strong.

Eric Jeffries is Sage's uncle and one of his favorite people in the world. Eric and his wife Shannon have been a strong support system for Sage throughout his life. One of best presents Eric has gifted to Sage is his famous mac & cheese recipe.

Kwyn is SO excited for you to see her hometown. Kalispell is a popular summer tourist destination with Glacier National Park located nearby.&nbsp; Glacier National Park is a must-see but requires both Vehicle Registration AND an Entry Pass. In other words, don't just drive up on the day you want to go and expect to get in!&nbsp; Planning Ahead is Easy -&nbsp;A portion of vehicle reservations will be available 120 days or approximately four months in advance at 8 am MST on a daily rolling basis.Next Day vehicle reservations will be available at 7 pm MDT for next-day entry starting on May 23, 2024 on a daily rolling basis. In addition to a vehicle reservation, visitors must also have a park pass or pay an entrance fee to enter the park. A park pass or entrance fee is required to access any entry point within Glacier National Park. Park passes and entrance passes are not the same as vehicle reservations. Park passes and entrance passes are available for purchase at park entrances or online at Recreation.gov. Visitors who already possess a valid entrance pass, such as an Annual, Senior, Access, Military, etc., do not need to purchase another pass. To plan your trip to Glacier Park, visit https://www.nps.gov/glac/index.htm. If you don't end up securing a vehicle pass to Glacier, but still want to do some hiking and exploring there a TONS of other options. Consider looking into the Jewel Basin, Lone Pine State Park and Herron Park.&nbsp; If you're not outdoorsy, there are a lot of other fun, touristy activities like zip lining, gondola rides, walk-in-the-trees, The Maze and more. The options are endless so we definitely encourage doing some research and finding things you like!&nbsp;
