Outside the office they levelled up, touring national parks, Universal Studios, and even Nashville into their own travelling comedy act. Wherever they go, chaos and laughter follow like a personal soundtrack. Even after Amy moved back to the UK, their friendship somehow got even louder. John met Doug during a tumultuous freshman year in college, and ever since Doug has striven to encourage further chaos. Despite Doug heartlessly moving to the other side of the country, they have maintained a deep and meaningful friendship. The two have travelled together extensively; from Barcelona to Tokyo, sampling the local cuisines and indulging in the local libations. Doug is also the premiere curator of John's audiobook library. They've spent many precious nights discussing the adventures of Lock Lamora, Darrow of Lykos, and Kaladin Stormblessed. He is a gifted artist, a caring friend, and an invaluable advisor.

Kyle met Lauren in January 2025 and from day one they clicked in the most chaotic way possible. Lauren quickly became his partner in crime at work, his gym hype woman, and the certified Muscle Mummy of his life, fuelled almost entirely by white Monsters and Zyns. They bonded over laughing until they cry at the silliest things, screaming music in the car, and turning every workday into a mini adventure. Lauren is the friend who can walk into a room and instantly change the energy, usually by saying something unhinged that Kyle finds far too funny. Together they have travelled from Texas honky-tonks to Yellowstone, the Tetons, and the bright lights of Vegas, collecting stories that will definitely not be told at the wedding. She makes every trip funnier, every workout louder, and every moment a little bit more chaotic. Lauren is Kyle’s country bestie, his constant source of energy and laughter, and the friend he is genuinely grateful to have by his side on the big day.

Alex and John's friendship was crafted by Mr. Douglas Fuchs. He introduced Alex and John during Alex's short trips to visit him in Richmond. John was lucky to make an impression on Alex, because she proved to be one of the kindest most genuine people he'd ever met. Her patience and her wisdom is on display in every conversation one has with her. John sincerely hopes their friendship lasts a lifetime.

Kyle met Ben at the British Embassy in 2022 and has been pestering him for attention ever since. When they’re not hanging out in DC, Ben is usually giving Kyle a crash course in history (whether he asked for it or not). He’s the ultimate workday sidekick, a fellow Brit making the jump to the USA, and proof that every chaos-loving friend group needs at least one history nerd to keep things interesting.

Trenton and John bonded in high school over their warped sense of humor. When others were shocked, confused, or dismayed the two of them would be smirking and shooting conspiratorial glances at the other. John even cast Trent in his one act play where Trent played a murderous cheesemonger. As stated earlier, confusion was a common response to their comedy. Today Trenton has grown into a brilliant empathetic man. John had the privilege to work with Trenton briefly, and he witnessed that in addition to his wit Trent has a meticulous dedication to achieve his goals. John considers it an honor to be his friend.

Kyle first met Abby in 2022 as John’s cousin, and every time since she has brought nothing but good vibes. Even though they have not hung out a ton, Abby has that rare superpower of making Kyle feel instantly loved, like a best friend and family rolled into one. It is giving wholesome, it is giving comfort character, it is giving “how have we not known each other forever.” Whether it is Thanksgiving, Christmas, a wedding, a random family gathering, or quick catch up, Abby shows up with the kind of energy that makes everyone’s day brighter. She always arrives with kindness, laughter, and just a bit of sparkle, like she personally refuses to let the vibe drop for even one second. Abby is basically the human version of Jonas Brothers confetti, and Kyle is genuinely thrilled to have her on his side of the aisle bringing joy, chaos, and certified good energy to the wedding.

Katie and John met like all the great thespians do, under the spotlight, the stage below their feet. Never mind the fact that they were background characters, and the stage was for their elementary school play. They became instant friends. Perhaps because up to that point they'd been used to people saying that they were too loud or too excitable, and suddenly they found someone that admired and encouraged that reckless joy. So despite the teachers scolding them, they were swinging each other in circles cackling like goblins before the rehearsal had even started. The two would remain friends for decades, planning a backpacking trip after college, doing arts and crafts projects, and even clinching the coveted Gingerfest trophy. She remains a source of joy and excitement, that John will always be grateful for.

Kyle met Kelly in 2021 and she has been bringing kindness, laughter, and full brat energy ever since. Kelly radiates the kind of warmth that makes people feel safe and welcome within seconds. Together they have screamed into karaoke mics, wandered through Europe like unhinged travel vloggers, and spent far too many evenings proving that Kelly is the undisputed Quiplash Queen (she wins every single time and still reacts like she has just discovered fire). What Kyle loves most is how naturally funny, loving, and genuinely good she is. She turns ordinary moments into core memories, makes everyone around her feel lighter, and can make Kyle laugh so hard his whole face hurts. Kelly brings heart, humour, and loving energy to every space she enters, and Kyle is truly grateful to have her standing with him on the big day.

John became aware of the unstoppable force known as Miguel Bustillo in the year of our lord 2013. Even when he was younger Miguel had a lust for life. He would shout until he was hoarse, run until he puked, and play EDM music loud enough to blow out sound systems. The two kept in touch during college, and decided to live together after graduation. Miguel, John, and Joe were all living together when the Covid-19 Pandemic rocked the world, and upended all sense of normalcy. It was lucky for John that he had Miguel around, because no quarantine could be boring with Miguel "Busty" Bustillo sharing your living space. Whether it was 3 AM Rocket League tournaments, synchronized swimming in a 100 gallon kiddie pool, or brewing his own hard seltzer, Miguel always had a plan to keep the good vibes going. As the years have passed Miguel has remained a bold and passionate person. John feels extremely fortunate that he has Miguel in his life to inject joy and excitement into every situation.

Kyle met Laura in 2018 during Phase 2 military training, where their friendship began the moment she laughed at him for tripping while marching. From that day on they became inseparable. They have partied their way through more nights out than either of them could ever count, travelled across the UK and all the way to Ibiza, and caused more than their fair share of trouble at work. There were mornings when they were so hungover and late that they actually had to run to work in full panic mode, and the gate security staff at Royal Navy bases probably still roll their eyes when they remember the two of them charging through. Laura was also Kyle’s Covid bestie, the person who kept him sane through lockdowns, boredom, cocktail nights, and long walks. They survived it all together and somehow still managed to laugh through most of it. She has been there for every version of Kyle, through loud nights out, quiet moments of panic, hysterical laughter, and the kind of life chats that only happen at 2am. Laura is the friend who will celebrate with him and cry with him. Over the years she has gone from being someone he met in training to a true ride or die and one of the people who knows his heart best. Laura is not just a friend but a constant in Kyle’s life, someone he treasures deeply and is proud to have by his side on the big day.

Megan and John started their journey in her sister Molly's car. The two kindly Lynch ladies were giving him a ride home after school. It didn't take long before Megan, despite being a year younger, realized that little John was naive to the ways of the world. Even though he was brash and startlingly loud, he was shy. From that point on her and her family welcomed him like one of their own. The two spent almost every day with each other, often terrorizing the drama teacher Ms. Nelson. Megan even joined John, Joe, and Katie on their European backpacking trip. John is so grateful that she will be standing by his side for his wedding, and he's very excited to return the favor as Megan's officiant for her wedding next year to her lovely fiancé Luke. Megan introduced John to most of the friends he still has today, and will always be a someone he loves, cherishes, and respects.

Kyle met Phil in 2024 and he has been like a big brother ever since. From the start they bonded over their shared ability to find trouble at work, laugh at absolutely anything, and turn even the most ordinary day into a story worth retelling. They have travelled together, from Yellowstone to the Grand Tetons and anywhere else that promises good views, good jokes, and maybe a little chaos. Whether they are exploring mountains, grabbing drinks, or just chatting nonsense, Phil brings the kind of steady, loyal presence that makes every moment better. He is the friend who feels like family, the person Kyle can rely on for advice, laughter, and the occasional reality check, and someone who has become a genuinely important part of his life. Kyle would not want to do life, let alone this wedding, without him.
