The weather in Rhodes in early July is sunny & dry with the average temperature being in the mid-high 80s. There is very little to no chance of rain.
When do I book?
We recommend turning on Flight Tracker on Google Flights to track when prices drop. Be prepared to have your flights and accommodations booked at least 3 months in advance. Hotel room rates are not fixed (the base rate could increase at any time) so we recommend booking sooner rather than later! Our block discount is valid until May 31st 2024.
How long should we plan to stay?
There is plenty to do in Rhodes especially if it is your first time on the island. We would love to see you the day after our wedding at our sunset cruise! We recommend at least a 3 to 4 night stay.
What do I pack?
Besides packing your party shoes and finest attire, plan to pack water shoes as some of the beaches are pebbly.
You will also need a European adapter. Ladies, if your appliances are not dual voltage (usually hair dryers) you will need a transformer and adapter.
What is the best way to exchange currencies?
The current exchange is 1 USD to 0.92 Euros. You can order Euros before traveling from most U.S. banks. If you prefer to pick up Euros when you arrive to Greece, you can exchange at the airport, ATMs, or local banks. Be aware though that ATMs and airports tend to have worse exchange rates and withdrawal fees. Major credit cards are also accepted almost everywhere.
What else should I do to prepare?
Don't forget to make sure your passport is up-to-date!!! It is recommended that the passport expiry date is at least 3 months after the intended day of departure from the EU.
