A series of friendly connections in the same dorm led to us meeting the very first week at Binghamton University our freshman year. It wasn't long before we started to click. Conveniently, Dimitri and Dani (Laura's roommate) had an engineering lab partnership that was frequently used as an excuse for us to meet up and talk daily.

We noticed quickly that we shared a lot of similarities in our upbringing. Both of us were first generation. Both of us spoke multiple languages. We share a lot of values and perspectives on the world that became a launchpad for our relationship to grow very quickly. You never plan for your first college romance to end up everlasting but we've learned that life surprises you in unexpected and incredible ways!

Traveling has always been at the forefront of our shared interests, and we're lucky to say we've been all over the world together. It's only fitting that we decided to get married abroad. It's even more fitting that it will be in Rhodes. A place where Dimitri has some of his roots, and one of our favorite places in the world.

It's been an amazing journey so far, and we can't wait to celebrate the start of yet another huge chapter in our long story to date.
