Our love story began in 2018. Lauren and Ryan met while she was stationed at Fort Knox, KY and Ryan was there for training with his unit from JBLM, WA. They started dating long distance over the next two years traveling back and forth from Seattle to Louisville once a month. Their first date was at a rooftop restaurant called 8Up in downtown Louisville, KY. Shortly after they booked a trip to Austin, TX for Memorial Day weekend and the rest is history. Over the next two years they traveled to Texas, New York City, Mexico, Canada and lastly Pennsylvania to pick up their beloved fur baby - Bodie! On Valentine's Day 2020 (pre-Covid) Ryan proposed at 8Up where they had their first date. Within that year Ryan left the military and went to help Lauren relocate from Kentucky to South Carolina for an Army course. In December of 2021, they bought their first home in Fort Lauderdale, FL where their love story continues to include Bodie and Mr. Bentley.
