Cape Cod

Restaurants

Provincetown

Take a day trip to P-town to explore the culture and cuisine. We enjoy spending time here exploring the shops, various art exhibits and trying a new restaurant. There are lots of options that have seating right on the beach along with more upscale dining.

The Lobster Pot

A landmark in P-town well known for its clam chowder. We really enjoyed the Clams Casino!

The Canteen

A casual counter-serve, beach themed hole in the wall on the beach to enjoy fresh seafood.

Wellfleet

The town of Wellfleet has a wonderful small downtown to explore along with lots of restaurants offering delicious seafood.

Ceraldi

We have not had the chance to try this one yet, but our friends have raved about their tasting menu. Reservations are required and should be made a few weeks in advance.

The Pearl

One of our staples when we are on the Cape! A casual atmosphere offering very fresh seafood (fried, grilled and broiled) with lots of different sauce options. Be sure to get the Oysters!

Mac’s Shack

Mac’s is always a fan favorite for its unique dishes and sushi options. Enjoy the outdoors with seating on seashells under their tent and grab a drink at the bar while you wait.

Chatham:

Chatham Squire

An institution in Chatham to grab a pint day or night and enjoy the scene. Excellent food and drink options along with live music.

Chatham Pier Fish Market

Worth a visit to grab a lobster roll and fried seafood and sit by the docks watching the fisherman bring in their catch of the day!

Red Nun Bar and Grill

Cozy setting to enjoy a pint with a fantastic burger.

Twenty-Eight Atlantic

Located at the Wequassett Resort, a Forbes Five Star restaurant offering coastal cuisine and beautiful views of Pleasant Bay.

The National Seashore

Forty miles of pristine sandy beach, marshes, ponds, and uplands support diverse species. Lighthouses, cultural landscapes, and wild cranberry bogs offer a glimpse of Cape Cod's past and continuing ways of life. Swimming beaches and walking and biking trails beckon today's visitors. Our favorite beaches nearby are Coast Guard Beach and Nauset Light Beach. Watch out of the piping plovers!

Baseball

Catch a Cape Cod Baseball league in Orleans watching the Firebirds taking on teams across the Cape. You might spot the next MLB MVP!

Golf

Cranberry Valley Golf Course

One of Dennis’ favorite courses nearby offering a classic Cape course in excellent condition year after year. They offer a grass driving range, along with a pitching area with bunkers.

Cape Cod National Golf

A must play for golf lovers if you are staying at the Wequassett Resort Ranked as one of the top 20 best golf courses by Golf Digest, the 18-hole Cape Cod National course offers exceptional views and challenging play for both casual and competitive golfers. Call (508) 432-5400 to book a tee time.

Dennis Pines and Highlands Golf Course

Another fan favorite offering two 18-hole courses with tight fairways and well-kept grounds.

Highland Golf Club

Take a trip back in time and enjoy a short 9-hole links style course.

Breakfast

Hole in One Bakery: Orleans and Eastham

Our go-to breakfast spot near the house to enjoy a quick bite. Be sure to try their seven-layer bar, stuffed croissants and specialty coffees. The Eastham location is always busy in the summer during the morning, but you can order in advance at Orleans and pickup.

PB Boulangerie Bistro

A renowned French bakery in Wellfleet with fantastic pastries.

Boston

Where we met and spent our first few years together. We love the city and there are so many places to share, we do not know where to start. We recommend exploring the quant streets of the South End, walking down streets such as Waltham and Union Park.
