Do I get a plus one?

We’re thrilled to have you join us for our special day! While we’d love to provide everyone with a plus one, we hope you understand that we can only accommodate the person or persons named on the invitation.

Are children invited?

We love your little ones but, in order to include all of the adults we love, we have decided not to include young children in our celebration. We understand some of you may be traveling with little ones and childcare can be a concern. If you need a babysitter, Lauren has several coworkers who are pediatric nurses that may be available to help. Please feel free to reach out if you’d like more information or assistance with arranging childcare. We appreciate your understanding and hope you can enjoy a night of fun and festivities with us!

How do we get to and from the Venue?

Transportation will leave the Golden Hotel and the Hampton Inn Denver West/Golden to take guests to Woodlands for the Ceremony. (You do not need to be staying at either hotel to take one of these shuttles.) There will be two options for guests to leave at the end of the night; an early shuttle for those who are stuck on East Coast time and a 10 pm shuttle for those wanting to party until the reception is over. Shuttles will stop at both hotels and the bride and groom invite everyone to join them at an after party near the Golden Hotel.

Can we use Uber or Lyft?

Using Uber or Lyft to get to the venue will be easy, as there are plenty of drivers in Denver and Golden available to get you there. However, Woodlands does not recommend relying on Ride Share apps at the end of the night due to the limited availability of drivers in the area of the venue.

Can we drive to the venue ourselves?

Woodlands has parking for up to 40 vehicles and even allows cars to be left overnight until 10 am the morning after a wedding. Cars left after 10 am Sunday morning will be towed at the owner's expense.

What can I do to prepare for the altitude change?

Denver is the mile high city at 5,280 feet above sea level and Woodlands is at 7,556 feet. It's a good idea to arrive a day or two early, if possible, to give yourself time to adjust, avoid altitude sickness and to allow yourself to enjoy your time without feeling the effects of the thinner air. Hydrate in the days prior to arriving and once you get to Denver. Just remember; one alcoholic drink at elevation equals two at sea level. Pace yourself so you can still enjoy the weekend :)

What will the weather be like?

Welcome to Colorado, where the weather can be crazy, and the temperature has been known to change by 50 degrees in 24 hours! Daytime temperatures in November range from 40-60 degrees and nighttime temperatures could drop into the 30s. November is also the beginning of the snowy season so some snow may be possible. With Denver's sunny days, though, you’ll often find clear skies and bright sunshine, even if temperatures are chilly. It’s still a good idea to dress in layers and be prepared for sudden weather changes, especially in the evening when temperatures can drop.

Which airport should I fly into?

Denver International Airport is the closest major airport to the venue at only 25 miles from Downtown Denver and 35 miles from Downtown Golden.
