In May 2023, Lekha made a video call to tell me that her co-resident has a Bernedoodle that looks like Priyanka's dog, Olive. That was the first time I saw Keith in her apartment with two cute Bernedoodles chasing each other and playing with a tennis ball. Later, she told me she is dating a nice guy named Keith. She also mentioned that Keith wants to meet me and asked if it would be okay for them to come together for the Labor Day weekend. We had a great time meeting and getting to know Keith. When we first met Donna and Greg before Keith's surprise proposal, we were sure Lekha was very lucky to be part of the Shamrock's family.

Greg and I knew that Keith was seeing someone in his residency program long before he told us. Why? Because he seemed very happy and frequently mentioned the word "co-resident" in every conversation! So I visited the UF Family Medicine website, and after reading each resident's "autobiography," I knew immediately it had to be Lekha. Greg and I are so thrilled that I was right, because she and Keith are absolutely perfect for each other!! We love her and her entire family <3

My introduction to Keith came when Lekha mentioned her 'senior' had given her a detailed list of things to do in the Florida Keys for our trip. It was clear they were more than just friends when he consistently dropped her off at the airport for her trips home. My first meeting with Keith confirmed what I suspected-they were a perfect match. The effort and approach used in Keith's secret and elaborate plans for Lekha's proposal impressed both of us. His parents' unwavering support, making two trips to Perrysburg just ten days before the proposal to make it perfect, is a testament to their love for Keith and Lekha.

When Keith told us he had found somebody special and her name was Lekha, we had already suspected because of how happy Keith had been acting. We got to know Lekha by taking a long walk from Canada to England and stopping in France for dinner. Then continuing through Italy, Germany, China, Japan, and Morocco. In Mexico, we watched a spectacular Epcot fireworks display! Our family is blessed to have Lekha and the love she and Keith share.

Lekha and I always wanted another sibling. When we didn’t get that, we begged for a dog. We’d promise to do chores for a year to show we were responsible enough to take care of our puppy (we never made it past a week). Eventually i got a dog of my own once i moved out. Two years later Lekha found my future brother in law with the same exact dog as me ... a two fur one

I first met Keith 31 years ago on the day he was born and we have been best friends ever since. We had a blast growing up together in central Florida spending countless hours on the boat, in the water, at the beach, and of course cheering on the Florida Gators. He is annoyingly good at pretty much everything. I have always viewed Keith as being very happy but did not realize how wrong I was until I first saw him and Lekha together. Congrats you guys and I promise I will beat Keith at something eventually.

Lekha took me to an all-meat restaurant the first time we went out to dinner; I told her weeks later that I was a vegetarian

Keith is an absolute stud. Keith and his brother Alan, and I have had a special almost brotherly bond since childhood. I always knew Keith was destined for great things. Lekha is a beautiful soul and worthy of Keith's greatness.

Keith is a man of exquisite taste. I knew this when he introduced to me a delicious dish called Lobster Mac n Cheese. A pairing that I wouldn’t have predicted, but immediately knew was right. When I first saw Keith with Lekha, I knew he had found the lobster to his Mac and cheese. Congrats you two.

My favorite experience with Lekha was making a family band called SLP conversity and writing our one hit wonder No Never No. Growing up with Lekha, I learned to dream big and be myself!

Growing up with Keith was amazing. We have made a lot of memories, including NBA final games during the summer, wakeboarding on the lake, traveling in Europe, NYE in New York, the Keys, and standing in a Chipotle line for over an hour in Gainesville watching the employee madness. Lekha and Keith are perfect for each other, and I look forward to making new memories with them.

I met Keith during orientation week in residency. Those first couple in-basket tasks we completed together that week were the beginnings of the trauma that forged our friendship. I figured out Keith and Lekha were together well before he told me. Not being included anymore in our walks with Lekha was a big hint. Knowing both Keith and Lekha through residency I could not imagine a more perfect couple. Can’t wait to celebrate you two! TBCOG Forever!

I love Indian cinema and taught myself 3 additional languages just by watching movies. I spent most of medical school teaching Lekha about Bollywood when we were not studying. I am also crazy and have been making my baby listen to all the music in the above languages as well during pregnancy.

Keith and I go wayyy back to little league baseball days! I can honestly say he’s the most kind hearted guy I’ve ever been blessed to meet. It would take too long to talk about all the life long memories we’ve made together but a few would be our Mediterranean cruise, all the Keys trips for the mini lobster season, an eventful trip to St. Augustine in the little Boston Whaler and of course just all the time we played baseball together as kids. I could go on for sure with endless stories of good times and hilarious moments! I couldn’t be more excited to see him getting married to such a beautiful and driven woman as Lekha too. I can’t wait to get to know her more and to see what their life together leads to!

Had my tonsils taken out in 5th grade and ended up going to the emergency room at one point during the recovery. The doctor was wonderful and shared that she had a daughter as well in 5th grade at the same school. The daughter was Lekha, the rest was history
