CITY TOUR ANCESTRAL, COLONIAL AND MODERN LIMA (Half Day)

In the Historic Center we will see the imposing colonial mansions and churches such as the Cathedral, Municipal Palace, among others.

COLONIAL LIMA: Later we will enter the Church and Convent of San Francisco that constitutes the largest exhibition of religious art in America. The Choral Room and the Monks Library can be seen, the Sacristy, with its collection of canvases by Zurbarán and Rivera. The Great Courtyard of the Main Cloister, decorated finely decorated with Sevillian tiles from the 16th century and the underground crypts, known as the Catacombs, where you will feel the presence of the colonial past.

Guided tour of the splendid Citadel of Pachacamac, sanctuary of the God

Pachacamac, creator of the universe for the ancient Andean peoples. He was an important ceremonial center of great religious influence on pre-Columbian cultures. The citadel includes temples, pyramids and palaces. They highlight the “Temple of the Sun”, the “Temple of Pachacamac”, the “Acllahuasi” or “Palace of the Virgins of the Sun”, among others. CUSCO

Day 1: LIMA/CUSCO: City and Ruins Tour

Reception and transfer from the airport to the hotel. In the afternoon, the tour will begin in the city that includes a visit to the Cathedral, Koricancha (Temple of the Sun), Sacsayhuaman (cougar head) and Q'enqo (Labyrinth), a religious center dedicated to the cult of the Earth. Puca Pucara (Reddish Place) that was used as a center for military use and control. Day 2: CUSCO – FULL DAY Machu Picchu
