Old Salem Museums & Gardens
Step back in time and learn more about the historical settlers of Winston-Salem. With the colonial homes, gardens, and bakery, Old Salem is a must see. Old Salem is located 15 minutes from Clemmons and 10 minutes from Graylyn Estate.
Reynolda Village, Garden, and House are located together. Reynolda is walkable from Graylyn Estate, but also provides plentiful parking. This area offers something that could be of interest for anyone. Reynolda is about 15 minutes from Clemmons.
Reynolda Village Shops & Restaurants
Reynolda Village offers great breakfast options of a crepe shop called Penny Path and a doughnut shop called Dough-Joe's and lunch or dinner options of May Way Dumplings and Village Tavern. We highly recommend Theodore's for a quality crafted cocktail. Reynolda Village also has several boutique shopping and a local bookstore.
Reynolda Gardens-Wake Forest
Enjoy the natural beauty of flowers at the Reynolda-Wake Forest botanical gardens. This area is also just a short walk away from Wake Forest University's main campus.
Reynolda House Museum of American Art
Dive into the history of the Reynolds family and their impact on the Winston-Salem area. Majority of the house is open for public self-guided tours and includes a rotating art gallery.

Within in walking distance of the Holiday Inn Express in Clemmons. Offers a paved walking trail around the lake and a stocked fishing pond.

Walking trails, bike paths, playgrounds, fishing, golf, horses, and an RV park, Tanglewood truly has so much to offer. Enjoy a walk in the park or spend the whole day there. Tanglewood is about a 5 minute drive from the Holiday Inn Express in Clemmons.
