How to Get to Iceland
We recommend flying to Keflavík International Airport (KEF), the main airport near Reykjavik, with Icelandair or Play airlines . Both airlines are based out of Reykjavik and are cheaper options from the United States - prices are often as low as $400 round trip from select cities.
Accommodations - Room Block
We reserved the rooms at Bru Country Estate (Sveitasetrio Bru), which will serve as home base for the weekend. The group transportation will pick up and drop off guests at this hotel. Please find booking details below.
Summer in Iceland is high season, so we encourage people to book flights and accommodations as early as possible before space is limited.
Brú Country Estate (Sveitasetrio Bru)
The deadline to book rooms at Bru was April 1st.
When booking, you agree to the following cancellation policy:
- Cancellations less than 4 weeks before your stay is non-refundable.
- Cancellations 4-8 weeks before your stay will receive 50% refund.
Our wedding planner, Sigga, at Pink Iceland is directly handling the reservations at Bru. If you have any questions or issues with your reservation, please contact her directly at sigga@pinkiceland.is or let Cole/Lindsay know.
Hotel Grimsborgir by Keahotels
We have booked a room block at Hotel Grimsborgir as an overflow option from Bru for our guests. Grimsborgir is a 10 minute drive from Bru.
The group bus will be picking up and dropping off at this hotel in addition to Bru. Please let either Lindsay or Cole know if you plan to take the bus.
We highly recommend Grimsborgir Hotel for any guests who are looking for nice accommodations while in Iceland!
Ljosafoss Guest House
Ljosafoss is directly next door to Bru (2 minute drive). Please note this is a hostel setup and does not have in-room bathrooms.
The group bus will be picking up and dropping off at this hotel in addition to Bru. Please let either Lindsay or Cole know if you plan to take the bus.
