Thursday's Halloween Gathering for Early Arrivals: No dress code but costumes are encouraged
Friday's Welcome Reception: Dressy Casual
Wedding Dress Code: Cocktail/Semi-Formal. Black and/or burgundy attire is required. Themed attire is encouraged but not required. Read on for more details.
Yes, our wedding has a theme! Lindsey loves all things spooky and given that their wedding falls on Día de los Muertos, a theme of "'Til Death Do Us Part" was born (please see the Día de los Muertos page for more information on this sacred holiday!)
We would love your participation in themed attire, but also respect everyone's individual preferences and needs. At minimum, we ask that you please dress in black or burgundy. If you want to wear the LBD hanging out in the back of your closet, go for it! If you are open to more adventurous attire, we're hoping you'll indulge in the Gothic Romance theme (while still adhering to black/burgundy colors). We accept whatever your interpretation of Gothic Romance may be. Totally confused by "Gothic Romance" and need some direction? Lindsey's got you! Think victorian meets gothic meets romance... Like Dracula is throwing a cocktail party and you're one of the lucky sons of bitches to get an invite! Lace, velvet, corsets, waistcoats, tailcoats, and even fun hats/headpieces if you're feeling it!
See below for thematic inspiration, but don't be afraid to access your creative side and come up with your own interpretation!
