Food-N-Stuff

Justin and I are providing dinner Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights as well as brunch Sunday morning. Guests (that's y'all!) will be responsible for feedings themselves outside of those meals. I can't do EVERYTHING for you, sheesh!

All onsite cabins are equipped with full kitchens. There is a Dollar General 4 minutes from the venue and a full-scale grocery store, Ingles, 8 minutes from the venue. Sidebar, wow, Dollar General really has taken over the rural market, huh?

Coffee

In Hiawassee there is a Starbucks inside Ingles, a standalone Dunkin', and a local coffee shop with strong Christian overtones if that's your vibe. If you're up for a longer drive (25 minutes), Laughing Waters, located in Hayesville's downtown square, is my local fav.

Alcohol

The closest full-scale liquor store is Hiawassee Package which is 6 minutes from the venue. It's tight quarters but surprisingly well-stocked. Dollar General sells basic beer and malt bevvies if ya nasty. Ingles sells a nice variety of beer & wine.

Weather

Since I'm still honing my witch powers, we'll be at the whims of Mommy Nature (all hail). Average highs are typically in the low-mid 60s, with lows in the 40s. Rain chances are generally low for that time of year but you never know what surprises Mommy Naytch might have up her billowing bell sleeves.

The ceremony will be outdoors with a rain contingency plan in place. I recommend bringing layers that can be easily removed and whipped around in the air above your head once the dance floor opens.

I really don't give a rip what kind of shoes you wear but it might be helpful to know that the venue has paved walkways. You can still go off-roading to do things like tell ghost stories around the fire, push your date into the river when no one's looking, or foolishly attempt a round of cornhole against the still undefeated bride & groom.
