Two people decided to take a leap of faith and dabble in the world of Tinder- Somehow, out of the thousands of people, and hundreds of miles apart at the time, those two people happened to have each other miraculously pop up on both of their phone screens. Both people swiped right and before they knew it, it was a match.


After multiple swipe lefts, something about just seeing Brayden’s picture randomly pop up for the first time created an immediate spark for Linsey- She thought, “Who is this guy? Something about him just seems different than everyone else, but in a really good way”- like it was meant to happen.


On Brayden’s end, just seeing the words, “ice cream, cartoons and EDM (electronic dance music)” in Linsey’s bio (and also maybe a couple of cute pictures of Linsey in her graduation gown and Pikachu Halloween costume), Brayden knew he had to slide into Linsey’s DMs (direct messages) ASAP- He felt that this girl also seemed different than everyone else, but also in a really good way.


Once the two got to talking, they both were hooked. Brayden and Linsey ended up having so much in common- they would talk for hours about anything and everything under the sun. They even found out that they had ironically lived in neighboring cities when growing up! Direct messaging led to exchanging phone numbers, which then led to officially meeting in person! Linsey knew that this guy was special and Brayden felt that this could really be something.


Brayden and Linsey decided to meet at the Video Game Museum in Frisco for a day of fun- they ended up hanging out for the entire rest of the day into the evening! They both didn’t want the time with each other to end. They decided to go on another date exploring the Denton Square, and Brayden showed Linsey around his Alma mater of UNT. More and more hangouts led to more and more memories, laughs, inside jokes, deeper conversations and learning all about one another. The two became each others’ best friend very quickly and began to fall for each other.


Fast forward to November 4th, 2019- Brayden wanted to do something special for Linsey and planned a really sweet date, which included many of Linsey’s favorite things. During their amazing date, Brayden asked Linsey to officially be his girlfriend!


5 wonderful, memory-filled and life-changing years later, Brayden and Linsey decided that they wanted to have each other by their sides for forever. Brayden decided to pop the question at Garvan Gardens knowing it was the perfect place to propose. In front of a beautiful waterfall, Brayden proceeded to get down on one knee, pulled out the ring, told Linsey some incredibly sweet words from the heart and asked Linsey to marry him. Of course Linsey said yes! The day then went on with cheerful celebration and exciting discussions of the couple’s future.


…And now here they are! The two are now engaged and are so excited to start their lives together. Who knew a swipe right could lead to such a beautiful thing? Linsey and Brayden are the absolute best of friends, each others’ better half, and find their true home in one another. They always know how to support each other, lift one another up, and encourage each other daily. As true kids-at-heart, they both nurture each other’s youthful spirit and always know how to find fun in the little things. Brayden and Linsey truly were made for one another, and they can’t wait to see what life has in store for them!
