* Lava Tonic - tiki bar! good and strong drinks. Beware of the proof!
* Central Standard Brewing - locally owned brewpub with great beers.
* The Brickyard - the place to be in the downtown district.
* Hopping Gnome - really good brewery that specializes in IPAs.
* Dockum - a hip speakeasy in the basement of the Ambassador.
* Industry Old Town - haven't been yet, but looks like a fun cocktail and rooftop in Wichita!
* Douglas Social - bar with 80s vibes. Haven't been, but looks fun!
* Grace Hill Winery - our family friends the Sollo's started this winery 15 years ago. A must stop if you have an extra day in Wichita, it's about 30 minutes outside of the city, but delicious locally made wines.
* Club Rodeo - not a place I frequent often, but if you want a real Kansas cowboy experience you can hit up this club and see live bull riding on the hour every hour and get your country two step on with the locals.
