* Keeper of the Plains - basically like the Eiffel Tower of Wichita. A 44-foot tall steel sculpture standing where the Big and Little Arkansas rivers join; a land that is sacred ground to the Native American people. Sculpted in 1974 by Wichitan and Native American artist Blackbear Bosin.
* Frank Lloyd Wright Allen House Museum - one of the best kept FLW home I've ever seen. For Chicagoans who love architecture see if you can score a tour!
* Botanica - the most lovely garden. This is one of my favorite places in Wichita. Don't miss it!
* Old Cowtown Museum - want to see life in Wichita when cowboys ruled the land. Step back in time at Cow Town!
* Aspen Traders - Mountain Chic in the middle of College Hill. Check out the cool and hip jewelry and clothing store.
* Watermark Books & Cafe - the cutest little bookshop in the middle of Kansas. Stick it to Amazon and buy your next book here! Your plane ride home will be boring without a visit.
* Lucindas - quote from their website: "I like Lucinda's! You can be weird here!" - 7 year old girl. If that doesn't entice you, then it's not for you!
* The Work Room - a really cool home goods store with tons of Wichita swag. Don't leave ITC without a flag icon.
* Nifty Nut House - sounds weird to go to a nut shop this day and age, but it's a great one. Lots of candy too for the nut allergy folks!
* All Things Barbecue - have a smoker or a grill? Love to eat meat? Come on down for a smoky treat! I guess guys love this place.
* Wichita State Campus - home to our famous Shockers! the WSU campus recently added a high-tech section to the campus. I hear great things!
* Clifton Square - another cute little shopping center in College Hill, not far from downtown. Good food and cute shops.
