* Espresso To Go Go - mostly coffee here, this is Marky Mark Thompson's favorite coffee in Wichita.

* The Donut Hole - gourmet and playful donuts.

* Homegrown - locally sourced food, great brunch spot.

* Tanya's Soup Kitchen - delicious homemade soups and salads, Panera on steroids!

* Old Mill Tasty Shop - a classic diner experience and local favorite. Prepare to eat chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and a milkshake or the world famous Chicken Salad!

* Ziggy's Pizza - great local pizza in College Hill.

* Uno Mas - Great street tacos.

* Lotus Leaf Café local, organic, super healthy food option. It’s in Old Town.

* Pig In! Pig Out! - our favorite BBQ spot in Wichita.

* The Belmont - American restaurant and bar, in College Hill our fave neighborhood.

* N&J Cafe - the best Lebanese café in Wichita, you can't go wrong with a kebab dinner, chicken shawarma sandwich, kofta kebob or fattoush salad. You better get the hummus too!

* Bella Luna Cafe - you can eat here for lunch or dinner, a delicious Mediterranean spot. Maybe the best hummus in Wichita, depending on who you ask.

* Meddy's - delicious newer Mediterranean fast food chain!

* The Monarch - great sandwiches in the Delano district, not too far from the Arkansas river, pronounced "Ar-Kansas" not "Ar-Kansaw." When you're in Kansas, we say the S!

* NuWay Cafe - you may have never had a burger quit like this. "Crumbly is good!" It was a childhood favorite to get a burger, onion rings and a homemade ice cold root beer.

* Spangles - looking for a good greasy burger, look no further to our local "made fresh, made to order burger!" Spangles, like the star spangled banner. This is also a good late night spot to soak up the drinks.

* College Hill Deli - a great Mediterranean option not far from downtown.

* Sienna Tuscan Steakhouse in the Ambassador Hotel - delicious Italian steakhouse

* Nortons Brewing Company - Brew Pup with good local beer and burgers/sandwiches. Fun games outside

* Georges French Bistro - having just spent a week in France, this will hit the spot. Locals LOVE Georges, you'll probably need a reservation for this hot spot.

* Mike's Wine Dive - wine and dine in a College Hill favorite

* Il Vicino - good wood fired pizza and other italian fares in College Hill

* Wichita Brewing Company - really good pizza and local beer, a little away from downtown

* Chicken N Pickle - get your pickle ball on and eat some chicken! Enough said.

* Chester's Chophouse - fancy steak dinner delivered. You'll need to take an Uber or drive. The seafood specials are always delicious too!

* Ya Ya's Euro Bistro - this was a fave restaurant growing up, food is always good and you can't miss the chocolate souffle for dessert.

* Newport Grill - good seafood spot, out East.

* First Mile - this is a newer restaurant in Wichita, I LOVE it, it's very minimalistic, big city eatery. They also spin vinyl for hip vibes! Bring your own vinyl if you dare. The owners come from NYC and planted themselves in Wichita and bring the vibes.
