It will be August in Kansas City. This means it will most likely be both hot and humid. We would like for you to be comfortable, but still look dressy for a fancy night out. Feel free to wear bright colors, it is summer after all! We recommend watching the weather to know if it's even worth taking a shower, if it's hot enough you'll be sweaty right after you leave the house. We say chance it, it's ok to be sweaty. You only live once, right? (please shower ;)

YES! Check out the Registry section at the top of the page. We both lead semi-busy lives these days and promise you that this is very overwhelming and definitely a work in progress. We feel like it would be great to start our next chapter as "we" and "our stuff" instead of "yeah, that was a hand-me-down from when I moved to KC." Home improvement items, new bedding, pots and pans, gardening implements, or maybe an experience on our honeymoon are all good ideas...figuring out that list takes time, this is our first wedding rodeo! We admit, this whole registry thing feels weird to us, but everyone says "but people want to buy you stuff!" OK, ok, ok, we will give in and curate a list. We are upgrading to a king size bed, so I guess that is a start. Also, I hope everyone knows that Liz LOVES Costco and good deals. The majority of these things were carefully thought of and researched ;) The Registry tab shows all of the items we have registered for and you can click on the link right from this page! Please remember to click the fulfilled button so it will be marked as purchased. Items that can be purchased in person are fine, too. Just know that you can also buy online and have it shipped. You will find items from: Crate & Barrel, West Elm, Target, Amazon, Costco.

There are several street parking spots around the venue, as well as a tiny lot (which will probably be full). Feel free to park in any of those spots. The KC Streetcar is also an option, however, it doesn't always come around when you need it. The two nearest stops are about 2.5 blocks from the venue. If you are staying at the hotel, there is a shuttle that will run. TBD on if we are able to have it run on a slight schedule for us! Another option is using Uber and Lyft or taxi for a ride. We will update this info as it get closer to the date!
