What’s the dress code?
Costumes are REQUIRED. This is a dark fairytale, gothic fantasy event, and you are a character in our story. Think:
Steampunk intrigue 🕰️🔩
Game of Thrones regality 🐉🏰
Dark fantasy elegance 🌙🖤
Gothic romance 🕯️💀
Phantom of the Opera mystery 🎭
Enchanted forest sorcery 🍂✨
Victorian ghost story vibes 👻🕰️
Be dramatic, be whimsical, be the villain... your inner goth
Do I really have to RSVP?
YES. There are multiple events, and your presence (or lack thereof) affects the entire master plan. Do us a favor—respond like your life depends on it.
Where should I stay?
I wasn't able to block hotel rooms, but this is New Orleans—there are plenty of amazing places to stay.
Check out the HOTELS page for more info.
Is this kid-friendly?
Yes! This is a family-friendly event, and we fully support tiny humans running around in adorable costumes. However, if you’re bringing kids, please RSVP for them so we can make sure they get cool presents, unnecessary amounts of sugar, and a properly spooky good time.
Can I bring a plus-one?
Yes!! If there isn't an option to add a plus one, please let us know and we will fix it. If you want to bring a plus two, please ask... we love a party, but we also have a headcount to keep in check.
Is there an open bar?
Yes. Maybe. I don’t know. I’m not in charge.
But if there is, pace yourself. If you black out, you better do it in theme.
What’s this about a Second Line?
New Orleans tradition at its finest. After the ceremony, we’re hitting the streets with a live brass band for a joyous, music-filled march through the city. Grab a handkerchief, join the parade, and let’s make some noise. It’s a party and a workout—two for one.
What should I do in my free time?
Explore the coolest city in the world! Whether you want history, haunts, or hedonism, New Orleans has something for you.
Check out the KREWE OF BOO! page
If you don't come to that, at the very least, eat a beignet, get lost in the French Quarter, and question your life choices at least once.
Do you have a wedding registry?
Instead of a traditional registry, we’re keeping it simple: if you’d like to give a gift, we’d love contributions toward our honeymoon fund.
Found on the REGISTRY page
(Think of it as helping us embark on our next great adventure—one where we promise to raise a glass in your honor. 🍹✨)
What’s the weather like?
October in New Orleans is usually nice, but it’s still Louisiana. Expect warm days, cool-ish nights, and the possibility of the city deciding to surprise us with spontaneous weather chaos. Plan accordingly.
Will there be dancing?
Maybe. It depends on vibes, how much we’ve eaten, and whether someone starts summoning spirits with a violin.
What if I don’t know anyone?
Then you’re in for a treat. Our people are fun, dramatic, and possibly supernatural. But y’all know me—everyone will be besties by the end of day one. Don’t you worry. 😉
What if I get lost?
If you find yourself wandering the French Quarter with no idea where you are, congratulations, you’re experiencing New Orleans correctly. However, if you actually need help, text someone.
